She never asked for money to "support feminism." What is mentioned is Feminist Frequency, the name of her website. People who make their money from a web series, blogging, etc. periodically remind viewers of the existence of a donation page. This is standard stuff.
Don't assume to know her audience. I subscribe to her vids and I am not a "social justice warrior", nor am I even a liberal of any stripe. I can imagine that folks from all walks of life could find these videos compelling.
If you have a problem with the content of her videos you should address her arguments directly.
Uh that screen shot she posted is evidence I'd say. The whole 12 seconds after it was posted is kind of a giant red flag. The fact that her videos are getting no where near the amount of views she was getting when she was getting threatened so she is making less money is motive to pull a stunt like that. She also has the same PR company as a dev that is receiving a ton of flak right now for sleeping with game journalists when something like this is a pretty textbook PR move to try to change the focus of the media and people from one issue to another.
I don't think they were legit threats. I think they were manufactured to get her more publicity.
How is it then somehow about me not like what she has to say? I'm pointing out that it looks a hell of a lot more like a perfectly timed PR move than an actual threat and somehow how I feel about what she has to say is then called into question.

In previous pages, you have added a lot to this conversation regarding the substance of Ms. Sarkeesian's commentary. This "she is threatening herself" theory seems a bit far-fetched to me, however, and I think that it is coming across as a way to avoid a discussion on her views. (In other words, I do not think that you are one to engage in ad hominem attacks based on your earlier posts, but the conspiracy theory you are asserting is coming off as one regardless of your intentions.)

No, no, it all makes sense.
Ms. Sarkeesian has made threats on herself via Twitter to generate more funds for her feminist website as well as move her house and uses the same PR service as Depression Quest creator Zoe Quinn, who had a microchip implanted in her neck with codes for Deus Ex. Deus Ex was developed by Ion Storm, which was founded by John Romero and Tom Hall in Dallas, Texas. Dallas is where John F. Kennedy was assassinated after declaring America would go to the moon! Therefore, Ms. Sarkeesian phoned in fake threats to herself so she could move to Dallas due to her association with the JFK assassination and helping to fake the moon landing, which was all a ruse so that 40 years later we wouldn't blink an eye when an inside job was performed by Haliburton on 9/11 to destroy the World Trade Center so we could go to Iraq for oil! And 9+11 = 20, but if you add in the two numbers that appear in 2001, 2 and 1, to that 20, you get 23!
Ms. Sarkeesian committed 9/11 to fuel the military industrial complex!

I just don't have the energy to give a shit about what she says on her latest video. Overall I would echo similar thoughts to zero though. That she is going to do more harm by changing the way that people develop their games by trying to avoid certain things and adding things just to try to cater to her and her fans. That just isn't much of a change. It's going to still be a male dominated business now with more badly written female/gay/trans characters in video games.
There's another big story that got reddit, 4chan and tumblr to join forces that I'm not going to bring up here. That issue did bring light to some false allegations that the person I mentioned shares a PR firm with Anita made so I really don't find it to be that far fetched.
And one more example of false threats used by a feminist just because I find this one funny.
One thing Sarkeesian did much better in this video is pull examples in the proper context. On some of her previous examples, there were at least some examples pulled that weren't given full context. Most of her examples in the previous works had proper context, but certain ones didn't.
I am curious about the Bioshock 2 example, because I'm interested in the context of it all. She mentions the corpses of the women being sexualized in positioning and such, which is a fair point. However, why exactly were they killed? I also think the fact that it is in a brothel is a decent excuse for their clothing, and I think the use of a brothel helps to characterize Rapture and its idealism, though I'm sure there would be better ways to do it.

Not too far from the truth, hence why I emmigrated.

Wait, so to avoid tea drinking, sex avoiding people with bad teeth you moved to China?
