Maybe I'm not getting it, but is there some trick to Knack or is it designed that way that enemies just seem to time much of their shots to kick your ass while landing after hitting another enemy or evading their shot/swings at you? I'm liking the set pieces, the story, the character though he's far too fragile, but the cheap repeats over and over again even just in to like world 2-4 of the game is pushing me to a near fury.

It's definitely not the most balanced game. The enemies don't appear to have an appropriate attack rhythm.

Its one of the reasons I didn't bother finishing it.

I think I'll play it when I can find it cheaply enough ($40ish?). I have spent plenty of time on PC, but haven't tried all the classes yet so perhaps a console run would be fun...

I do as well. The main reason I got the PS4 version is because I just think this particular game feels better with a controller. Really wish they'd add controller support on PC. The downside to console is the potential for hacked items though I hear that that is less of an issue on PS4.

Is that really an issue? I am primarily playing solo and I'm still very early in the game - Act I.

As an aside, I'm loving the gauntlet / Phantasy Star Online feel the game gives me.
