Re: What are you playing?
I'm playing Star Wars: KOTOR on the iPod Touch. I thought the controls were going to be bad but after messing around with some options and sensitivity they are spot on. Still on Taris nd its been about 10 years since my last play through on the Xbox.
One complaint so far: either the buttons on the menu screens are too small or I have fat fingers.

Ys Origin (PC) - Super fun stuff, very streamlined dungeon stomping and I like that. Not so sure about the whole "replay it two more times afterwards to get the whole story" aspect though.
Broken Sword: Shadow Of The Templars (Wii) - Pretty good story thus far, honestly more of a dialogue simulator than a proper adventure game.

PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Even I did not do this. Once is enough, I think.Exhuminator wrote:Not so sure about the whole "replay it two more times afterwards to get the whole story" aspect though.
Great game. I'm gonna replay it on Steam soon enough.
I do own a physical Chinese version. The product key is on a scratch-off plastic card - like a phone card or gift card. Never seen that w/ a PC game before.

Almost done Final Fantasy 13 and...my god, what a piece of garbage. Nearly 20 hours in and I'm hating it. They FF series has truly been raped and gutted.

The numbered games are garbage now. The spin-offs and remakes are still fun as hell. But yeah, I don't think I'll be checking out XV.

It's truly a damn shame. In the spirit of "changing things up" Squeenix is destroying the very thing that made the series so popular in the first place. I would write a big diatribe about all the flaws and mistakes they made, but I don't have the energy. Avoid this game if you can!BoneSnapDeez wrote:The numbered games are garbage now. Trying an expert run through of Hitman Absolution, and its kicking my ass on the orphanage level. I haven't played the other Hitman games, but playing on a higher difficulty makes some of the complaints I've heard make more sense.

Socksmakepeoplesexy.net did a pretty amusing write up of the entire series and they really give XIII both barrels. I'd give it a read if you have the time.Retrogamer0001 wrote:It's truly a damn shame. I really wish SMPS was still updated. Lots of good stuff there.

Great read, completely agree with his descriptions of the gameplay and plot. It really is a mess of a game, and I hear the two sequels are no better.Sload Soap wrote:Socksmakepeoplesexy.net did a pretty amusing write up of the entire series and they really give XIII both barrels.
