Not long at all for RPG standards.

The original Ys III doesn't keep track of time, but I estimate it's about a 6 hour game. Maybe less.

Oath in Felghana took me 11.5 hours.

Huh... I actually kind of like hearing that, since there's a lot of them. Someday I'll get to them...

Do it. I've only played Ys III on the SNES, but it made for an enjoyable romp, and it wasn't long at all.

Also, so how do folks handle the Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us series in this thread? Individual episodes or whole season at a time?

Hmm, interesting. I guess I could start listing which episodes I have finished of WD and my reaction to them. Overall I'm enjoying the game, but I do have the occasional complaint.

The first two Ys games are short as well. Last time I played the first game I was done in about 3 hours. Having it memorized helps of course. Ys II was closer to around 5 hours.

The last couple of games released are around 25 hours or so each. So they have been getting progressively longer.

I tend to list the individual episode, so I can give quick reactions to it. I don't put a +1 in my beat column until I've played all the eps.

Isn't that one a bit weirder and different though?

The overhead ones have always looked a bit cooler to me.
