Congrats... being a first time parent is challenging at first, but its worth it... especially since babies like to watch fast moving colors on the tv (i.e. video games) My 6month old loves the battles on Shining Force 2 and will watch Wario Shake it for hours.

I love being a father, its an interesting job and a privilege to be able raise a "mini-me"

Yeah i told my wife earlier that i need to invest in a shotgun lol

My son already is obsessed with mario and megaman and he is only 2! So she will be the same way 8)

Best of luck! Being a parent wont be like a RPG, but you will want to hang on to your gil while you have kids!

Congrats man. From what I can tell by my nephews and niece, girls are easier in the younger years. Not sure about the older years, or the whole shotgun thing.

Lol, if I ever get married and have a girl her boyfriend will likely have a shotgun as well and we'll go shooting together. :D

Congratulations on the good news! Hope you enjoy watching and hearing about things like Hannah Montana (or whatever similar Disney-girl propaganda is popular when she gets older).

My 5 year old son was a Thomas the Tank Engine fanatic as a toddler, and that show was intolerably boring. Especially when you consider that George Carlin once did the narrating for the show. I encouraged his interest in Mario and video games as early as possible, and I suggest you do the same. :)
