Well figured I might as well post this here now, I think I've come up with a build for myself just don't know where to cut some corners so I can knock it down until I decide to upgrade to a i5 later on(since it is supposed to be budget but is nice to have the ssd already in there)...

Personally, I'd rather not save money by buying parts I'll have to swap out later.
An i5 would be at least double what the Pentium is, but I'd try to rejigger stuff and/or just pay for one to start with. Similarly, the RAM kit you have spec'ed is 4x1GB DIMMs, meaning, if/when you upgrade (as you said in the other thread you wanted to), you'll need to pull some of the RAM out to make room.
While I'm more of the mind to go with it anyway, you do have some potential to cut costs by shifting down to an H-series board instead of a Z-series. I wouldn't go with the bottom end ones (H81, etc), but the Hx7 should be fine if you aren't overclocking. Similarly, the stock cooler should be fine for stock speeds.
It'd make more sense to either just wait a little longer to put the i5 and an 8GB kit in from the start, or build with a HDD initially in order to fit those parts into the same budget. Nice as an SSD is (and they're quite nice), you can still make use of a HDD later when you get one (if not multiple HDDs, given your stated use).

That CPU is the new anniversary Pentium right? You can get a pretty cheap board and OC those things pretty nicely to get some great performance out of them. You can even over clock on a non z77. There were some stories about it when it wad released.
I am going to throw my hat in cut out the ssd. If you have to have one just get a smaller one and a HDD. You can always add another later.

Well yeah that makes sense. I figured id just make it strong enough to run(for my class at school) then once I've saved up, I'd beef up the ram to 8 and add a better video card(so I can do some steam/PC only stuff and mmorpgs on higher settings than I have before). But this is the bad thing about me not really knowing the hardware as good as I probably should. I'm going to try and mod that once I get back to my computer with what's been said now
(I'd rather have a i5 but couldn't find a decent combo and still keep it cheap on the parts....)

Why are you so desperate for an SSD instead of a mechanical HD? I would be worried about running out of space with only a budget SSD and no mechanical HD.

Well the thought process was to eventually through in a regular hdd for the rest of my stuff and hold files on a external drive until I got around to purchasing one. (and i'd have to add in a wireless card just for the forseeable future too now that i think about it just because I don't have a way to deal with a long enough cord to still be out of the way

Through school, just getting the backup cd so I have some way to install it...(especially because i don't think I can find a cd large enough to use for the install at least I don't think so).
