In a moving vehicle reading anything more than road signs is a good way for me to lose my lunch. I think trying to play a game in one might kill me (especially if I'm driving. That shit's dangerous.)Stark wrote:In a moving vehicle that's just a good way for me to lose my lunch.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I never move that slider down! It's called the 3DS for a reason.

I'm now picturing you playing your 3DS while you're stuck trying to get on northbound 405.Stark wrote:In a moving vehicle that's just a good way for me to lose my lunch.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I never move that slider down! It's called the 3DS for a reason.

For some reason I can play games just fine in a car as long as it's not text heavy. Any time I read in a car it's instant motion sickness.

Only handheld I ever played in a car was the original Game Boy back when I was a kid. I had a light for it, of course. These days if I'm in a car I'm usually driving.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Just a friendly thread bump with 2014 release dates for 3DS titles worth mentioning:
Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright 8/29
Super Smash Bros. 10/3
Fantasy Life 10/24
Persona Q 11/25
I'm a little confused as to why the underdog Vita has more games coming out in the States for it this year, then the far better selling 3DS. All the same, all four of the games I posted above are likely to be solid gold winners. I'll take quality over quantity so take my money Nintendo.
Oh forgot about Azure Striker: Gunvolt, it comes out 8/29. Between it and PL VS PW, that'll be a good Friday for 3DS owners.

Never heard of Fantasy Life. Not really interested in the rest. Persona Q is a maaaybe, but I'm actually more interested in the Vita rhythm game, the updated fighter, and Persona 5.
Honestly, way more Vita games I am interested in, but that is nothing new. Still disappointing though. Last year had a ton of great 3DS games. This year has been pretty barren. Yet it continues to absolutely obliterate the Vita in sales. Power of Nintendo handhelds, I guess.
Very much looking forward to Project MIRAI and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

I've read it's Level-5's take on Harvest Moon or something.
I'm definitely interested in this, but I have not seen a concrete release date yet. If we're lucky we'll see it in 2015. But Capcom gonna Crapcom.Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

There's a new 3DS coming out, with more buttons or something.

I agree. The right stick/nub/mouse pointer looks ridiculous.Stark wrote:There's a new 3DS coming out, with more buttons or something.

It seems that Xenoblade Chronicles is exclusively being ported to this 'new' 3DS.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Couldn't they give this a proper second control stick? And the extra shoulder buttons seem like they will be really awkward to press.
