It's really good, even in an early beta stage. Of course, Nitronic Rush was one of the best free games of the past few years out of the many free games I played, and Distance is basically the same gameplay with vamped up graphics and the absence of a certain annoying announcer voice. Here are some more screens of the action. I love the neon sheen.

I don't know if they'll keep this feature in the final version or not, but there are also some neat graphics options that will let you have a Borderlands style thick-outline look, or a black and white "film noir" style:

If you guys never played the original Nitronic Rush, make sure to check it out. It's free and fantastic. I liked it enough to help Kickstart Distance:

The game also had a really banging techno soundtrack, which you can get for free as well:

This game is a fun budget title. It caught my interest because it's unusual that video games ever have a black protagonist. This is sort of like some cross between a Rudy Ray Moore film, a Michael Bay film, and God of War. It's ridiculously over the top in every way possible. There literally isn't a minute that goes by without an explosion of some type. I'm actually not sure if the game is an action movie parody or just overflowing with cliches. Nevertheless, it looks great and plays great and I'm really surprised this little unheard of underdog of a game is as good as it is. At times it reaches that blockbuster action movie feel it's going for.

I have actually heard a lot of good things about Marlow Briggs. Apparently it can be pretty funny at times as well.

I took a few shots of Bioshock this morning. I particularly like this one.

Not the best game in the world. It feels a bit old. But man is Rapture a cool place to explore.

Here's some shots of F1 2013.

It looks fantastic in motion but the motion blur really looks a bit nasty in the screenshots doesn't it?
