Sonic Mega Collection is a really sweet compilation.

My thoughts exactly. They're cheap at least. I'm happy for the Retron 5 having save states, because that's the only way I'll see past level 2 on Solar Jetman

I already had the Sonic Gems Collection for Sonic CD, but this fills out the rest. Plus, I see there's some unlockable games here too.

Didn't know Rare made Solar Jetman and Captain Skyhawk.

I could never get far in either.

I can't stand Solar Jetman but Captain Skyhawk was awesome to me years ago and once you get a feel for the odd depth of the map and the angle you're at it's a pretty fun game worth doing and not terribly hard either after that point of realization.

Since I think this is supposed to be a finds thread this is very modern but still I think worth noting. PS4 went up on ebay a couple days ago, got it in under 2min of being up there, new in the box, guy was short on tuition, bought it for $300 shipped. Making the deal sweeter I had a $50 gift card so I got a new PS4 for $250 (instead of $400+tax.) And then last night I been seeing for weeks on craigslist this guy with new PS4 games, got a deal on 3 for $100 on Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein and Lego Movie the Game ($170 in games for $100.) Just wish the PS4 was here, but that'll be Wednesday.

I know it's not "holy shit, that's the most amazing ever," but the other day, I found an Atari Jaguar with all the hook-ups, two controllers, and the original box for $100. I went home pretty happy.

I actually managed to beat Captain Skyhawk as a kid. It was one of my favorite NES games for a while. I have not been able to replicate that feat as an adult.

Ok so someone has already gotten this one too but I have to admit I finally found it: link's crossbow training for 44 cents. Oddly the clerks at gamestop seemed to actually be fans of the game to some extent. Probably ruined the deal by getting tak and the guardians of gross, pokemon explorers of the sky, yugioh 5ds stardust accelerator and kore gang outvasion from inner earth(all used of course except the tak game). Which still got me out of there at 58.41 which doesn't seem that bad but still I think I could've done better if I could've found my reciept from the first week of this month that had a coupon I could've used on this even if it would've been used on the zelda game unless I split it somehow...

Edit: also while getting my second shelf yesterday(was running out of room on the first one and I kinda like the idea of keeping the crt/portable(within that generation) seperate from stuff that goes on my hdmi stuff/portables within that era) found harvest moon animal parade for $15 in the bargain bin up front

Went to WeirdStuff Warehouse today and picked up a boxed GBA TV Converter for $5. It actually works fairly well for what it is and I'm not experiencing much of the flickering that people complain about. Turning the "Picture" setting on makes the video look like an emulator with the aspect ratio out of whack so I won't be using that anymore.

Been a while so I decided to hit the pawns today. Left with the following.

Total was $24

Deus Ex Human Revolution Augmented Edition- $8
Already owned this on the PC but at $8 I was drawn in by the overall nice quality of the packaging and art book  .

DMC: Devil May Cry- $5
Finally one of the stores in the pawn chain I liked has dropped Wii/360/PS3 games from $8 to $5 each. Have every other DMC game so I thought it was time to pick up the reboot.

Armored Core V- $5
Same thing as DMC I own pretty the majority of the series so at $5 it was coming home with me. Plus I love mechs so Armored Core is a no brainer.

Beat Down Fist of Vengeance- $3
Interesting looking fighter and it's Capcom so it should be decent quality.

Whip Lash- $3
Looks to be a decent platformer and who doesn't want to use a cuddly rabbit as a wrecking ball  . Remember how whacky this game was when it came out and buzz around animal cruelty that it drummed up.
