Everything went well. Had a small issue but we worked it out.
I'd do business with him again. Thanks, man.

Came home to a box on the porch after a few days out of town. Everything was great and the kids had some surprises on top too - which was awesome for them after a 12-hour drive.

Initially traded a working saturn for a modded gamecube. Nullxor charges $8 extra for game discs that I didn't request but felt obligated to pay (not a big deal at this point, though they came spread out all over the box and scratched up). I sent the saturn (with an extra game and better controller then advertised because it took me an extra couple of days to get it to the mail). Nullxor claimed the saturn did not work many weeks after delivery and claimed he took it apart to fix it... ruining it completely with no way of "returning" it. He claims he tried everything to fix and had burned himself doing so.

Feeling bad, I offered a refund but we struck a deal on him to video mod a genesis. He wanted 2, one to test on, and one to send back to me. He ordered the parts and I sent him $15 for those parts he needed. At this point I received many many PM's from him everyday urging me to try other "services" of his or to buy something else from him. I am not on this forum everyday and I can not possibly reply to them all and in not doing so, I would receive snarky PMs from him.

On top of the genesis, he wanted a refund or a trade of another console of mine for the initial Saturn.

I did not like these practices and I would not send the genesis'. I figured I was being conned and wanted the Saturn back before a refund. Our communication stopped and I did not visit this forum for awhile. Feeling bad when I logged back in and saw he is still active (and thinking I got it wrong), I sent him a message trying to get on good terms. His reply was not very receiving and wanted a refund. After trying to work something out and pointing out that I had put forth the exact equivalent of $100.00 for basically a modded gamecube I received one last PM:

I've been contacted about this post finally as I was not aware of it until tonight.

So I traded this guy a modded Gamecube for a Sega Saturn, pretty much an equal trade. The guy sends me a Saturn in one of those rectangle Medium Flat Rate Priority boxes that offer NO protection, as well as not including ANY packaging. The Saturn arrives and has very heavy graphical issues from being thrown around, totally unusable. I repair game consoles literally every day and have done a ton of Saturns so I'm not even going to type a response to saying that my attempted repair was in vain. I had exhausted every attempt at making it work with no success, the thing was junk when it arrived, I could have just sent it back but wanted to give him the benefit of fixing it myself.

If he had used packaging it would have arrived okay granted that he didn't send it already broken which now I have my doubts about.

So the guy says VERY slowly, in several day to week intervals about how he would give me refund and that he was so sorry about the situation. I even opted for a simple trade for a SNES which was worth $20 less than the trade and because he already had a few and I didn't want to take more of his money. The guy sticks me for a month, I even contacted an administrator/moderator and he told me that I should give him more time and that there was nothing he could do besides suggest that I leave feedback.

Fast forward a few months, I'm talking 3 or so here. The guy wants to apologize and "make things right" by giving me a refund. He asks how much, I say whatever you think is right. He says that he wants me to know that he sent me $15 randomly several months ago for something he never sent in and that I should take that into consideration. After 30 minutes of checking my Paypal statements from the past 3 months I finally find a payment of $15 for his Genesis mod that he never sent in or told me he was buying. So I say okay just let me know how much you'd like to refund me and I'm sure I'll be happy with it.

The guy goes on and on and on about this $15, how that Gamecube was "just a Gamecube, I can buy one at the store for $20, why would I give you $50 worth of a refund". After searching through dozens of pages of PMs, I "remind" him after saying initially that I didn't know what I traded him, it was in fact a Gamecube with a modchip inside and that it was worth plenty more than a regular Gamecube. He says that now he remembers (trying to take advantage of my ignorance about what I was scammed on months ago but got called out on it).

So then we go back to negotiating a refund. The guy goes around and around about a dollar amount, gives me excuses as to why he shouldn't pay X amount or Y amount. How it's not his fault, how he's sorry that he ignored me for so long. I just get fed up and want the guy to stop messages me so I tell him to fuck off, essentially telling him to keep his money and to leave me alone. I guess that means that I took $15 for a modded Gamecube in the long run.

So there it is, my side of the story.

EDIT

And about the "Nullxor charges $8 extra for game discs that I didn't request but felt obligated to pay."

The Gamecube uses Mini DVD-R discs, he had none so I offered to buy some and include a burned disc to show that it does play them and that if any of the others didn't work, it was because he was not burning the discs correctly. As far as the "not a big deal at this point, though they came spread out all over the box and scratched up", this just a lie and he is grasping at straws. The discs were in a plastic protected spindle, the same ones that the manufacturer sends them in. This guy is nothing but a liar and should be barred from trading here.

Ok $30.00 + $12 lost on your end and $35 + $15 + $12 + additional money you are requesting, on my end and I also get a bad review. Honestly I don't see the fairness but if you could give me an amount that you feel would be justified then i suppose let me know.

I'm pretty certain that the Gamecube has a modchip in it. I don't know why I would have sold a regular Gamecube here. Also, the $15 was supposed to be for parts or something, I honestly don't even remember. I know that you had the Saturn up for around $35+shipping so why would you trade that for a Gamecube that you could have gotten for $15? I never asked for the full amount. I said that you should send whatever you think is right.

Because I had not logged in in awhile and saw your message and can tell you feel wronged. I wanted to make things right but I don't think you realized that if I refund you the full amount then it will be far from fair. I will have no Saturn, and you can't return it because you opened it. I would also need to pay on top of that, and I would not get my $15 back either. It was for a gamecube also, which is about $15 at play and trade.

I was hoping you wanted to work out something fair. I know we're total strangers, but i don't like anyone out there thinking i wronged them... but i also would not like to be wronged myself. That is why i messaged you.

Why even message me if you don't want to make it right. I don't recall what I traded but I'm sure it was worth more than $15. :?

It just sucks lose both $15 and a Saturn due to the post office. I remember packing it on all sides. I've shipped many things before without an issue.

You didn't use packaging or it was already messed up. I remember the box clearly being almost destroyed and torn apart when it was delivered. :?

I don't know a dollar amount

I remember it clearly. You said that you'd give me a refund and then you vanished afterwards. My Paypal is [email protected] if you want to make amends.

Hey Man,

I wanted to apologize for falling off the radar before we got everything squared away with that previous trade.

I want to make it up to you so please let me know what can be done. Last I know is that the Saturn i sent got screwed up during shipping and that I sent $15 towards modifying a genesis but I never got into the mail.

Let's work something out.

But at the same time I feel bad. :?
Just send me your SNES bundle just sitting around collecting and I'll sell it for you instead of paying me out of pocket. That's what I want! :P
