Amazing. Simply amazing. I'm slowly getting tired of collecting, but seeing these pics make me smile. Maybe one day I'll go to Japan, but these pics will do for now.

In Japan the packaging of games (and the cover art too) definitely looks hell of a lot more appealing than in the US, I have to say.

Japanese Megadrive games look so nice on a shelf, I just love the cover art. I wish I had more but most of the games are insanely expensive.

I will be going to Japan next month for a tour guided vacation. I have carefully noted all of the places in the thread to keep an eye out for but I am not sure that I will be going to any of those locations. Do you have any store suggestions for these locations? :
Tokyo: Imperial Palace Plaza area, Asakusa district, Ginza District, Toyo, Koto-ku
Mt. Fuji area: Kawaguchiko machi mincini tsurgun yamanashiken
Kyoto: Kinkaku-ji,Golden Pavilion, Kiyomizu Temple area, Kyoto Prefecture, Higashiyama ward
Nara and Osaka: not sure what areas
Tsukiji fish market area
Hopefully some of that makes sense and thanks for any suggestions!
