How old are you?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

30 in a couple of months.

Computer Science degree from UQ, which I completed at 22.

I started Engineering, Philosophy, Psychology, Cognitive Science and standard Science degrees, which wasted a bit of time (and money) before sticking with CS. I was determined to not end up in computing ("don't make your hobby your job" I was told), but everything else ultimately bored me or had no real future (philosophy is fun, but quoting Aristotle while flipping burgers isn't).

if you know your birthday it's simply a matter of subtraction.

let me break this down. Current year - year of birth = current age
the variable is if your actual birth day is prior to the current day of the current year. then you add 1 year to your current age.

:)

ohh...and I'm 27 as of now. I only recently went to college so I'm still in school....but only 3 classes and an internship left. Getting certified in Audio Produciton. Probably going to get pro tools certified after that.

I hope that no one is doing statistical analysis to find the average age of a "retro" gamer and selling it to Nintendo...wait, they might need some help. Sell away, my friend.

ok... what year was a born and what year is it now???

hrmmm... ID says 1983

I guess that'd make me 25

Yeah that's great you're 15, but shouldn't you be living it up? Instead of playing video games? One day you're going to be old like us haha and you're going to regret wasting your time.
You know that story, about how NASA spent millions of dollars developing this pen that writes in Zero G? Did you ever read that?
You know how the Russians solved the problem?
They used a pencil.

just because i play them doesnt mean thats all I do! Im usually not home to play them as I like to go out w/ friends alot but since ive moved havent been able to do that much. Now that schools started again I can make new friends and get out some more, once im 16 i probably will have even less time since ill be hittin all the places in downtown Denver...
