Recently discovered someone I've heard of here and there.

Pelle K, who does metal-style covers of popular songs and songs from Disney movies (like "Let it Go" from Frozen) and anime and so on.

I freaking love his stuff!!!! He does some of the most amazing covers, even his "duck tales" cover is good and usually I'm not a fan of people messing with songs i liked in their original form(though I'm miffed at the horrid cover someone did of "dream on" :? ). I might have to buy a cd if he has one just because that stuff would provide me hours of entertainment :P

Sucks for the concert goers (at least some of them, as some didn't seem to mind), but http://gawker.com/this-is-how-you-get-fired-as-kanye-wests-dj-1621124950 this is pretty funny.

picked up this record at goodwill recently on sheer intuition. excellent, rare-ish Delta blues. my house feels like some kinda art house film right now.

That was pretty awesome, thanks for sharing that. I was trained to be a Blues guitarist, yet I've never heard of Jimmy Reed.. hmm.

Currently listening to two songs from Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime (yeah, I know). Heavy metal/progressive metal, depending on who you ask. Alternating between these stellar performances of "The Mission" and "The Needle Lies".
