GB Color games with extra GBA features

I noticed that there is a GBA mode locked off in the menu and read that this is the same game with additional levels playable only if you plug the game into a GBA.

Does anyone know if this is unlocked with using an emulator like VBA?

Can I assume the same effect will be had playing on the Gamecube with the GB Player?

The GBplayer is a Gameboy Advance so this all should work on it.

I can just see it now, people with longer access to the cables pulling their Gamecube out by the handle so the GBA cart is in the up position and swinging it around to do Kirby Tilt n Tumble, Yoshi Topsy Turvy and Wario Ware Twisted. Hell given the size, momentum involved and a little bit of weight it could be an interesting exercise routine.

It has been done since the GB player came out. Nintendo said Tilt n Tumble didnt work, people tried it to see. Boktai is another they said didnt work, but it didnt stop me from putting my cube in a window upside down. Once the player loads up the disc stops spinning, you can take it out - so no worries on damaging it.

It should, I know from experience you can use it to get to the Advance shops in the Oracle games.

I really don't like playing the games on GBA as I don't like the way the screen looks, the way the cart sticks out or the washed out display from my front lit SP. I intend to get the Oracle games for my GB Boy but would rather play them on that system while still being able to 100% them if possible with the use of an SP.

If you want to legitimately 100% the game, you could just pop the game(s) into a GBA, run into the shop and buy what you need, and then switch back to the GBC.

If playing on a GBA is really that bad of an idea, then you could also just use a secret that's probably floating around on the internet that has the exclusive GBA rings. I know it's what people are doing for the Virtual Console release.

I don't mind popping it in to get the extras. I just don't want to play the whole thing on the GBA when I have the superior GB Boy.
