You're literally the first person I've ever talked to who even liked it.
I liked it too. I do not think it is as good as the other two games in the Metroid Prime series, but it is still very good. It is also significantly harder than the other two; so, if you are looking for a challenge, I recommend it.

I dont know about Metroid Prime 2 being "hated". It wasn't as well received as one was, but I think most people still thought it was a pretty good game.

Maybe I just knew a bunch of douchebags in 2004?

I'm looking at what's left on my list and there's no way. I could probably knock out three more tops.

If we counted September as a "extra round" type of deal, maybe I could finish my list.

Right now I don't even have a nice dedicated gaming area, so it's been rather difficult.
Though, I've done better than last year where I finished a whopping 0 of the games I picked. (Oddly, since then I haven't been able to find some of those games, they appear to have vanished)

I've had no time for games lately. Today was the first day in a while that I've played anything, and it was for Together RPG instead.

Soooo, I've made no progress since the last time I posted in this thread.

I still have time I think. I'm near the end of Metroid Prime, and after that I'll only have one game left. A lengthy rpg, granted, but still just one.

The first day of Autumn is September 23.

start and end dates for "summer" are up to you. if you believe it is a defensible deadline, I don't see why not.

I know the season doesn't end until September, but we started well before Summer began on June 21st. Was just seeing what people thought.

I tend to think of summer ending when kids go back to school... But I will aim to have my last three games done before the 23rd of Sept. Maybe I'll get into the swing of things after I finish Ys III.

Played more Tactics Ogre tonight.

Got to an optional chapter with absolutely ludicrous difficulty and requirements. Tons of enemies, all of which are undead (respawn after a few turns if you dont kill them), half of which are 'super' undead which are much more powerful and not weak to undead killing weapons, you start at the bottom of a slope (archers are screwed), they can summon more units at will, there's a fragile ally unit who can only be recruited if she survives the chapter but starts the level dead with a 3 turn countdown to bring her back to life - and, if she dies again on the map, it's permanent. In a position where she's surrounded by powerful long range enemies, and the best reviving item brings her back with 25% health. Shes also a squishy mage. Oh, and the route toher is bottlenecked, and has a couple of knight enemies who have rampart aura - an ability that blocks you passing by them, meaning they have to be killed to reach her.

It's absolute torture.
