A Newbie's Gamecave (lots of pics)

Post by Kemiroch »

Hey guys I know I'm new here but I couldn't resist showing off my cave. Sorry I'm not the greatest with the camera, but hopefully it is decent enough to make out most of my stuff. It is, at the moment, a short term solution (I hope). I have dreams for how it will look in the not-so-distant future. Will try to keep it updated.

Here goes!

Image

NES (w/ TMNT 3 in it I think), SNES (w/ Super Metroid), Dreamcast, DVD, Saturn, Wii, Slim PS2, Gamecube, and Model 2 Genesis.

Image

Gamecube games.

Image

Most of my NES games and all of the SNES (besides the one that is in it now)

Image

The rest of the NES games, also the DS and Wii games.

Image

My sad 'collection' of DC and Genesis games.

Image

PS2.

Image

My collection of mostly crappy Saturn games :)

Image

The rest of my Genesis collection, and PS1.

Other game related things.

Original gameboys are fairly cheap
Atari ST, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Master System, NES, Mega Drive, 32X, SNES, Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar, Saturn, Playstation, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox360, Wii

Gamegear, Lynx, Gameboy (100s of the bloody things), Game & Watches (coming out of my ears)

I can't believe you people, how do you do that/ A gamecave? They must be outrageously expensive, purchasing hundreds of games, usually hdtvs, every known game system, controllers, et cetra. All I have is a crappy computer and an xbox strangled in a box of coards in the closet.
You know that story, about how NASA spent millions of dollars developing this pen that writes in Zero G? Did you ever read that?
You know how the Russians solved the problem?
They used a pencil.

Actually, he's right. I've got cinderblocks keeping up some shelves, and the small grains that rub off have scratched a few things. I wouldn't put any game stuff near them.

you don't buy it all at once, it accumulates over several years. I can tell you I work 60-70 hours a week and choose to live in a one bedroom apartment; it leaves a few bucks available for games. One of these days i'll get around to posting pictures of my man cave too, since everyone else seems to be doing it.

to the OP, nice collection.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.
