Some dungeons have those ironknuckle statutes at the entrance. Strike them and they either turn into an ironknuckle enemy or a magic restoration potion. Fight the enemies to gain XP, heal with spells, and use the potions to replenish magic.

I played a handheld (GBA) version so I was able to space out in front of the TV and max out Link's stats. 8)

Hmm, I did notice it was easy to manipulate that to get the red potions. Might try that out for leveling next time.

It can get dull so sometimes I would fight through the first few rooms of the dungeon too - and then backtrack.

You don't have to grind to beat the game of course. I'm just a mad obsessive grinder.

I'm playing Sonic the Hedgehog! Going to try to speedrun it. 6 stages down with good enough times after two days of practice, so within a week or so I should be able to start full runs!

Its quite fun! :)

Now I just need to get a Genesis and a copy of Sonic. Playing on a GC controller, pretty sure I bruised my thumb on that d-pad.

Ahhh you say that, but I think your Chun-Li had quite the streak going there. Regardless, it was a blast to play with someone again. Usually people I play are completely new to fighting games, don't get fighting games or are very angry, bad sports whether they win or lose.

I hate bad sports.

Currently playing The Last of Us: Remastered (PS4) and I also started Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES) after beating the first Ninja Gaiden (NES) a few days ago.

Nice! I very much respect your gaming skills, and I will be interested to read your thoughts on that game. (I enjoyed it very much, and the difficulty ramps up to classic "Contra" levels by the end. If I recall correctly, you can also unlock the NES versions of Contra and Super C, which I thought was a nice touch.)

.....

I will probably finish up Puppeteer (PS3) tonight. (It is a brilliant game, and my children love watching me play it.) I am also playing Halo 2 (Xbox), which I find to be a bit underwhelming. (I will probably finish it up next week.) Finally, I started Giana Sisters DS this morning at my daughter's request. (I have high hopes for it.)

Right now I'm splitting my attention between MGS P eacewalker, and Shin Megami Tensei IV. And both are pretty awesome so far.
