Breaking news Robin Williams has died

this is really affecting me way more than i thought it would. i have so many memories attributed to the movies that robin williams starred in that they're virtually ingrained in my childhood. and there are SO MANY movies.

everyone, please seek help if you are feeling depressed or are having suicidal thoughts. mental illness is very real and in most cases very treatable.

Got to shake Robin's hand at UNC when he was filming PATCH ADAMS. Wasn't any promotion or book signing, he wanted to show his appreciation for his fans. Very genuine.

And what's to say about his work for Comic Relief? For our younger crowd who might not know, among other humanitarian efforts, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, and other comedians raised millions for the homeless. The fundraisers were always a blast to watch and was one reason people "needed" HBO.

May he finally find peace.

Mourn for his death if you want, but I plan on celebrating his life.

Police are now reporting that Williams hung himself after possibly failing to slit his wrist with a pocket knife. The police are refusing to say if there is a suicide note, and a full toxicology report is pending 2-6 weeks.

Wow, that was...kind of beautiful. I don't pay Russell Brand much mind usually but that is really a nice piece. I may have misjudged him based on his body of work.

Russell Brand can be quite scrofulous, but an also be quite eloquent. Without a doubt he is a superb wordsmith.

Yeah Russell Brand then vs. Russel Brand now is different. He can be somewhat mad in his stream of consciousness thought process, but at times he can be really poignant and his overall message of, "Just love each other and be happy," can't be argued with.

With Robin Williams, gonna watch Patch Adams and Dead Poets Society, because they really affected me as a kid and I love them.
