I'm planning to pick up a set of component cables for my PS2. I already have component hookups for my Xbox, Gamecube, and my 360, so I'm not going to bother with a mulit-system cable.
I was wondering what people's experiences have been like with 3rd party PS2 component cables? Or do have you stuck with the official Sony ones? I've been thinking about purchasing this set from "Cables4PC"

Third-party PS2 Component Cables

Re: Third-party PS2 Component Cables
I have a cheap third party component cable and it works fine.
Being that component is an analogue source, more expensive cables may end up having less interference with the picture, but my cheap cables (not sure of the brand) work fine on my older fat ps2

Re: Third-party PS2 Component Cables
I had problems with 1st and 3rd party components. My LCD displays nonprogressive games with a choppy cut up looking picture. 1st party S video cables don't do this though. Certain 3rd party S video cables on a LCD suck. I'm talking acout the multi input ones that play Xbox, Gamecube and PS2 on one cable. I noticed little squares on the screen. Its really noticeable on colorful games like Okami.
