Pier Solar coming out for Genesis/Megadrive/CD!!!

I'm new to the Racketboy forums, so I would like to say hello to you all.

Not sure if this has been reported on before (probably has) but there is a new Megadrive/Genesis game coming out called "Pier Solar and The Great Architects" www.piersolar.com for all you who have the Sega/Mega CD also, you're in luck! the game comes with the sega CD version, and uses BOTH media at once for a graphically and Musically superior game!

I HAD to preorder it, being a Sega/RPG fanatic. The production on this one is simply amazing!

Try the demo, and look at the boxart! So much time and effort over the past 4 years being put into this makes it look great!

what're your thoughts/feelings on this one?

looks very well polished especially in the video. Nice graphics, color looks very nice for Genesis and everything looks very nice. Some cool parallax scrolling in places for blowing leaves and stuff.

As long as it manages to play well and avoid major glitches should be fun. I don't play RPG's often so i will skip it, but its fun that this is happening. If it was a shmup I'd be all over it.

It basically means enter your last name.... they say family name for translation purposes (i'm guessing) and for countries who don't have a last name, but have a clan or family title.

I tried the demo, liked the story, but noticed that the character movement was a little...off. Then I read that the demo came out a long while ago, Many things have been upgraded/changed, and i also realized that emulators arent perfect either ( I used Fusion)

After I briefly sighed, I clicked to preorder. After reading over more of the forum threads about people's concerns, I anxiously await more and more with each passing days. Oh how glorious the day will be when I hold my copy in my hands.

I pre-ordered back in October, and since then they lost a team member and had to delay the production. They are still working on it, and keep checking the official website for updates.

It looks pretty awesome indeed and I can't wait til it arrives.
