I'd also recommend looking into these:
The Addams Family
Addams Family Values
Alien3
Animaniacs
Cool Spot
The Death and Return of Superman
Disney's line (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Bonkers, Goof Troop, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, Toy Story)
The Hunt for Red October
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures
The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates
Judge Dredd
Jurassic Park
Marvel Super Heroes in War of the Gems
Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow
The Mickey games (The Magical Quest, The Great Circus Mystery, Mickey Mania, Mickey's Ultimate Challenge)
Micro Machines and Micro Machines 2
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers games (MMPR, Fighting Edition, The Movie, and Zeo: Battle Racers)
Phantom 2040
Pirates of Dark Water
Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday
Shadowrun
Spider-Man and Venom games (Maximum Carnage, Separation Anxiety)
Stone Protectors
Star Trek games (Crossroads of Time, Future's Past, and Starship Bridge Simulator)
Stargate
Super Star Wars Trilogy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games (Turtles in Time, Tournament Fighters)
Todd MacFarlane's Spawn: The Video Game
Warlock
I'm not saying they will all be great (or good, though tastes vary). But some are no-brainers (Turtles in Time), and some I think are better after a bit of play. Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday for instance. I thought it was bland and medicore went I started. Then I made it to the nightmarish Salvador Dali level, as the game slowly built onto its horror theme.
Anyway, I know there are a lot of other licensed games I haven't played, so if you guys have additions and thoughts on those, please volunteer them up to help out SNESdrunk!

Thought this was kind of a letdown, probably had my expectations too high since it was Konami, but it just wasn't that good.

Pirates of Dark Water
Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday
Really itching to try these out
Thanks as always for all the suggestions!

Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Animaniacs for the Genesis is a serviceable game that feels a little Lost Vikings-ish. Not great but playable. Animaniacs for the SNES is fairly awful in my opinion.

This game is like if all of the Super Star Wars games were on one cartridge. It even matches those games in terms of difficulty!

Magical Quest and Great Circus Mystery should be considered separate from the others since they're Capcom games and along with another game released only in Japan (although it would later see release on the GBA, but I'm not going to count that) actually form a trilogy. I haven't really played Magical Quest but Great Circus Mystery deserves consideration as a hidden gem on the system. It's also a game that's still relatively inexpensive.
As a kid I played a couple of Looney Tunes games put out by Sunsoft quite a bit - Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions and Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage, but haven't played them in years, so I'm not sure if the time I put into them had to do with them being any good or if it was just me making the most of the games I actually had.
How about the licensed games you make sure to avoid? I imagine Batman Forever would be a unanimous pick.
I sell video games and video game accessories.

Hey SNESdrunk, just wanted to say I finally got round to watching some of your reviews and really enjoyed them. They are just the right length and love the content and editing. Only suggestion would be to give us a smile when showing us the carts/hardware etc.
Also, I really like the fact that you hope I have a great rest of my day. I too hope that you will have a great rest of your day!

Yeah, I had mixed feelings about whether I should keep them together, as Magical Quest and Great Circus Mystery are totally separate from Mickey Mania, and I don't think Ultimate Challenge is related to any of them. But they're all about Mickey, so I figured why not. Also, I've beaten Magical Quest, and I think it's wonderful, though Great Circus Mystery builds on its ideas, so if you go back, it'll be slightly rougher.

I can give you those, though just as my list of ones for him to check out was based on my opinion, so will these be too. For instance, I am lukewarm to Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions, and I really can't stand Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage.
Avoid these:
That said, there's a lot of licensed titles I don't know anything about, like DinoCity, Hanna Barbera's Turbo Toons, The Itchy & Scratchy Game, The Mask, SeaQuest DSV, and so on.

What's wrong with Bart's Nightmare?

I hate the animation, the controls, and the gameplay.

I'm going to have to disagree. The only issue I had with the game are the sometimes unpredictable Temple of Maggie stages. Then I figured out there are correct paths you must take both times in order to succeed. Then I beat it. The other stages are fun.

And I'm gonna quote myself here...

It is my opinion that Bart's Nightmare, and most Simpsons games pre-2000, should be avoided. Not all, as the arcade beat 'em up is awesome.
