Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That's one thing with comic movies- what is grim/dark in comic cannon can still have all the color and looks you would expect with a comic. Nowadays, every movie has to have a dark look and shaky cam to be grim/dark.

Man I hate shaky cam.

It's the same as "Sad Batman", we've got to wait to see it. I believe the reds, and blues will be as bright as Superman's colors.

I do think we'll get "sad Batman", but that could certainly work. He could hate the world and perhaps Supes and WW change his ideals.

The DC adaptations have been really hit or miss recently, but I shall try to remain optimistic.

Sorry I wasn't having a dig. The promo pic does come off as very grim/dark which is part of what worries people about the direction the film is going in. I don't really want to imagine what a grim/dark Cyborg, Flash or GL are going to be like.
No sorry necessary. I get it. It's like Forlorn said, comic movies, or just movies in general, have it stuck in their head that if their movie has a dark theme, than that immediately means that the whole color palette for the film and the promo material must be dark too, even if their source material is anything but.

I for one, think it would be a nice change of pace to see a dark movie with a bright-ass color scheme. I know that might sound contradictory, but I think it can be pulled off.

You're a lucky man. My gf hates Moxie, so I will be enjoying this all on my lonesome :(

...

Wait, that just means there's more for me!

Never mind!

Someone made a mini Colecovision, and the result is much more satifying to look at than the original. If the modder could have added a few extra touches, it would be akin to the difference between the PC Engine and the TurboGrafx.

I am a big Tori Amos fan and at a recent live show she just mashed up Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" with Toto's "Africa". It took me awhile to get the joke.

Toto's "Africa" will forever be my Super Mario Bros. World 8-4 "Final Level" music. The first time I ever beat the game, that's what I was listening to, and it will forever be so.
