No ... no ... nothing like that. I'm not going to punish you for your opinion, I just think in this situation some of it is misplaced and I'm guessing it's because you lack familiarity.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Uh oh..time to pull my britches down and get spanked!Cronozilla wrote:We need to talk.BogusMeatFactory wrote:[Stuff]
I can fill in some gaps that you have that make it much more enjoyable and how it can pertain to the future of the MCU. And I know how you love excited speculations.
It seems like based on your issues there's something fundamental you aren't aware of. I just want to make it more fun!

Incredibly fun movie. The characters were really well done and it does a great job of walking the line between serious and comedic. There's also a good bit of world building for the Marvel Cinematic Universe even though it manages to feel like its own thing. It was one of the most exciting space adventure films in quite a while.SamuraiMegas wrote:Saw Guardians of the galaxy. It's really good!
Dave Bautista was the big surprise for me, he was legitimately funny but also succeeded in bringing an emotional depth to a character that could have easily ended up as just a big dumb strongman.
I remember seeing him at a generic wrestling match before he even hit the WWE. He's sure come a long way!

Watched Mazes and Monsters last night.

It's one of Tom Hanks earliest films. To sum it up Hanks joins a Dungeons and Dragons group then completely looses his shit as he slowly lets his characters personality take over. Pretty cheesy film over all with some of the worst music ever
. Whoever wrote up this script really thought D&D was evil and it's almost funny how they portray the dangers of gaming
.
On another note they did a horrible job transferring this to DVD it looks like the film was in really bad shape and I would rate the quality as even below standard for a VHS on the version I watched.

D&D and heavy metal were the media scapegoats that were luring children to their deaths in the 80s like video games are now.Fragems wrote:Whoever wrote up this script really thought D&D was evil and it's almost funny how they portray the dangers of gaming.

It is just funny to watch from a modern day stand point since they are so harsh about gaming in the movie, but stuff like under aged drinking is depicted as fine. I mean literally a person goes missing and immediately the cops start searching for D&D players because a game getting out of hand could be the only possible explanation
