The pill is the safest method when taken properly (same time every day). The condom is statistically less safe due to the possibility of physical failures (slips off, tears), but it also protects against diseases and makes for easier clean up, so using both is recommended. If the girl is not on the pill and there's a condom failure/no condom used there's also the morning after pill available (which is just a high dose of birth control) which has the lowest effectiveness, but is still worth trying rather than having a baby when you're not ready for one.

Here's an article about this topic with a bit of data about average earnings and average costs of the different degree types:

I think it ultimately comes down to what you can be happy with though. I dumped a lot of time and money into graduate school, which puts me behind people that immediately started careers just a few years after high school; however, I can't see myself being as happy in a job that I don't find to be as personally fulfilling and meaningful. The word "personally" is important there because you could (and likely will) have a different criteria for what is fulfilling and meaningful work for you.

Well the United States rewards you for being poor with a bunch of kids. Think about it, you have more babies:

You get more food stamps
You get more on your income tax to spend on Ipads, PS3, etc.

Trust me that's what many, many people do with it. Don't put it beyond materialistic poor people to get knocked up on purpose, get those government benefits, and spend the money and welfare on themselves. It happens every day.

My brother has 3 kids (two are twins, so his wife only got pregnant twice...she's fixed now, thank goodness), and this year he got back $11,000 in taxes to spend as he wishes. My grandparents paid off his house, his cars are paid for, family makes sure the kids have everything they need...he literally got $11,000 to play with. And that's exactly what it went towards. For a guy making $20k a year, my brother drives a paid for 2009 Escalade, has two 50 inch smart HD tvs and a huge collection of video games. All thanks to those babies and Uncle Sam.

They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

I will say this...

I'm a high school drop out with a GED. Last year ( 2013) I made $140,000( after taxes) I wont tell you what my gross income was.. I will just tell you watching over 35% of your check disappear sucks). I honestly think school is bullshit. There is NO replacement for hard work and experience.

Right now I'm 27, and I make roughly 80k a year.. I work 40 hours a week.. No nights no weekends. 11 holidays, and 15 paid days off. Can't beat it.

I worked on the oil rigs in North Dakota.

Started as a refueler on oil rigs/frac sites, and made it to a "night manager" basically. Put in my time doing 110+ hour weeks... It sucked, but you do what you have to do.

Now I'm a logistics coordinator for a nationwide heavy machinery distributor.

BUT and this is a HUGE but.. don't get me wrong.. I did my time.. Pouring concrete, doing asphalt, cutting concrete in 120+ degree weather in Nevada.. cutting grass etc... I dealt with bullshit jobs.. and worked my way up.

Wouldn't it have been nice to skip all that with a degree?
