There seems to be more appealing exclisives on WiiU than Xbox One and PS4 so far though. I can agree with that.

Gotta admit, that game actually looks pretty fun, so does the new zelda and a few other games they announced within the past year or soBoneSnapDeez wrote: Waiting for that Toad game? Gotcha.

You have a new PC to love and play HD mods of 90's games on--it's understandable.dsheinem wrote:which I've played even lessBoneSnapDeez wrote:Well thankfully you have a Wii U now.dsheinem wrote: Of note, in the past four months I have only bought one PS4 or Xbox One game (Child of Light), and ended up not liking it muchThese consoles need some more exclusives.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
Did somebody mention glorious PC gaming?
Really though, releases on all platforms is pretty slow right now besides a few smaller titles and indies. It's a good time to work through the backlog.
Speaking of acquiring games. I'm going to pick up Divinity Original Sin here on Monday or Tuesday along with that new Colin McRae Rally that looks like it'll be a good bit of arcade fun for $6 or so.

Older. Not wiser.
Re: Games Acquired 2014
End of the month update time....

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone
Syberia
Manhunt 2
Marble Saga
Black
Brink
Metal Gear Solid 4
Enslaved
Cubic Ninja
Little Deviants

Time Shift
Resistance
Front Mission Evolved
Final Fantasy X/X-2
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage
Adventure Time: Explore that Dungeon Because I Don't Know!
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
One Piece: Unlimited Red
They're closing my local Gamestop, so I went on a small splurge and picked up a few cheapies while I could, since the next closest one is about 40 minutes away
The others are either game store or thrift pick-ups, with the exception of Little Deviants, which was $2 at Kmart. It didn't matter that I don't yet have a Vita, my gaming sickness wouldn't allow me to leave it there

Re: Games Acquired 2014
I added a few games today:
Crypts of Chaos (2600) - $3
Super Cobra (2600) - $4
Worm War I (2600) - $3
Super Chase H.Q. (GB) - $3
Super Off-Road (GB) - $2
Space Invaders (GBC) - $3
Gadget Twins (GEN; CIB) - $4
Buster Bros. Collection (PS1; CIB) - $8
Cardinal Syn (PS1; CIB) - $3
Spec Ops Covert Assault (PS1; CIB) - $1
Spec Ops Ranger Elite (PS1; CIB) - $2
Puzzle Guzzle (PSP; CIB) -$5
Worm War I rounds out the "Fox Red Label" sub-set in my 2600 collection, and the Spec Ops games round out my PS1 "Spec Ops" sub-set. I also now hae both versions of Space Invaders for the Gameboy, and Cardinal Syn was the only game I needed to complete the Criticom/Dark Rift/Cardinal Syn trilogy. Finally, Buster Bros. Collection is an uncommon PS1 game that I traded years ago and am happy to welcom back into my collection.
