I actually don't, I live in the middle of Long Island. So I'm actually not too far from farms and whatnot.

I'm definitely not like most people. For better or worse.

I can't eat when I first get up. At all. Luckily, every one is kinda laid back at my job. No one cares if I eat at my desk. And really, I wouldn't be working here if I wasn't allowed to do something like that.
Luke wrote:And no offense to smokers, but smoke breaks are dumb. I only say that because at a lot of companies, if you don't smoke, you don't get two ten minute smoke breaks. It's being rewarded to smoke.
Sounds like jealousy to me. If you want those extra breaks, then just take up smoking!

I always like to justify it like this: Smokers are gonna die earlier then non-smokers. As a non-smoker, you'll be getting all those 10 minute breaks back as extra time spent living where as the smoker will be dead. So every time you're jealous of a smoker getting a 10 minute break when you're not, just remember that that's another 10 more minutes that you'll be spending alive than that person.

Also... 10 minutes to smoke? Shit, it takes me like 2-3 minutes to smoke a cigarette. 5 if I'm taking my time.

You don't know what jealousy means. Jealousy is envy of someone's accomplishments and/or accolades. Neither apply.

The appropriate word would be resentment.

Getting a 10 min break for a bad habit sounds like an accomplishment to me.

"JOHNSON! You know our policy. You can only watch porn for ten minutes at ten o' clock to ten ten. And for Christ sake, choose Brazzers or Public Agent as you're adding bills to our overhead".

To be quite honest, I think work is like church...in an attention span sense. After forty-five minutes your brain wanders. I say work your ass off for 50 minutes, walk around and break for ten, then get back at it.

My old boss once asked me, "What were you doing walking around the building yesterday?" I said, "Needed to stretch my legs a bit". His response was, "Good idea".

Back on topic, crispy waffles with real syrup kick a pancake's butt.

You're just jealous of his ability to pick out jealous people.

I can fix that for you. Get some Tony Cachere's Cajun Seasoning and sprinkle a little on a small plate. Dip the hard boiled egg in it. Salty and spicy. Fixes that egg right up and simple as can be.

Alternately, wrap some sausage around it and deep fry it ; )
