SNESdrunk reviews
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Hah, wow... always interesting to see the creative process at work there. I wonder at what point someone was like, "Dude, maybe Kirby could be the ball..."

Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Well Kirby's Adventure did have the "ball" power. I guess it wasn't too hard to figure out from there.

"The Super NES accurately plots yolur shot"
I have KDC. It's got awesome multiplayer courses. And if you medal on all the single player courses you get 4 more.

This. We've got an SNES box in the break room at work right now and I keep looking at it thinking "I've never heard of Special Tee Shot. Did that never come out?" Kept meaning to Google it.Ziggy587 wrote:Interesting quote about the game from Wikipedia: "In the beginning, the game was not going to be a Kirby title. Rather, it was intended to be a miniature golf game entitled Special Tee Shot, which eventually released in Japan only on the Satellaview add-on. It was only midway through development that the developers retooled it with elements from the Kirby series. The development team comprised a mix of staff from HAL Laboratory and Nintendo EAD. The game was featured on some Super Nintendo packaging featuring a Special Tee Shot logo."
SNESdrunk - I'm surprised that in your Shovel Knight review you didn't mention Ducktales as one of the influences (see: pogo effect) while identifying Mega Man, Zelda II and Mario 3 as influences. I'm looking into picking that game up but I think I'm going to go with the 3DS version. I play that more than anything else right now and it actually has a 3D effect!
I sell video games and video game accessories.

Re: SNESdrunk reviews
What kind of job has an SNES box in the break room?

Why, should it be a Mega Drive?ZeroAX wrote:What kind of job has an SNES box in the break room?

Hey thanks for watching, I did mention Duck Tales, in that the level design takes advantage of the pogo ability the same way that game didKnuckIfYouBuckley wrote:SNESdrunk - I'm surprised that in your Shovel Knight review you didn't mention Ducktales as one of the influences (see: pogo effect) while identifying Mega Man, Zelda II and Mario 3 as influences. If it was a Mega Drive, then at least they'd also have the game boxesZiggy587 wrote:Why, should it be a Mega Drive?ZeroAX wrote:What kind of job has an SNES box in the break room?
