I don't mind FPS in short bursts - but I get dizzy quick from them.
Will have to google Dayz.
I found out through this thread that Green Day is not British. I don't want to say my life has been a lie, but probably a good 0.004% of it has been and i'm still shaken.

I'll be interested to see if this is related to field of view. Luckily PC games let you modify that. You should try one set to 90ish horizontal degrees.

I've heard that weapon sway also tends to have a bearing on those with the issue. One of my friends a long time ago liked space sim games like Privateer and he was fine with them since there was less movement going on, but even the first Quake would bother him after a few minutes.
I've had it as long as I can remember. I've always gotten car sick too and have to take Meclizine for motion sickness any time i'm going in the car more than an hour. Perhaps I should take a pill before playing an FPS and see how that does me.
I would get really dizzy with N64 stuff, like within 5 minutes of Forsaken or Quake 64 and each time i'd try over the years it was the same thing.
I gave it ago w/Unreal Tournament w/some of you guys about 2 years ago and could last 30 mins before it simply "wasn't worth it". Even games where the environment turns are more controlled, like Portal 2, it's bad.
