You're looking for a new job? 'Tis the season apparently. How'd it go?

You too? Yeah, it never hurts to interview, I guess. I'm just not sure how sunny my future is at my current employer.

I think it went well. I've just never experienced so much sarcasm in an interview. When the first thing someone asks you is, "So, what did you hope to gain by coming in here with a beard?" You just know you're in for a bizzaro ride. :?

Is having a beard that strange? I have one 90% of the time. I've also never worked in an office type setting.

Being clean-shaven is such a foreign concept to me. As soon as I was old enough to grow a beard I had one. The very act of shaving I just find so damn annoying and time-consuming.

That sounds like me in a nutshell....I just need to teach myself how to trim it better so my mom doesn't say anything about it(though I usually attempt the short stubble/5'o clock shadow look...ah well maybe one day I'll get the hang of it

Yeah, those three minutes spent shaving could've been spent playing Ys II again.

I give up, I just give up.

I'm going to college, getting my degree, then going the hell off by myself.

It depends on if you are growing a beard, or have a beard.

People in HR, or interviewers usually have a check sheet that has to be filled out, and "Appearance" is a main category. Most companies want you to be clean shaven, as you can always grow a beard after you have obtained the job.

Frown: Ballet (laugh all you want) has destroyed my feet. To the point where I need to see a doctor, again. I need to heed my Father's advice of "When your body speaks to you, you listen". But I over do it.

Smile: Fifteen bucks. I got a landscaper to edge, mow, blow, and weed my yard for fifteen bucks because I gave him a jar of ice water and a ham sandwich. One and a half hours of work for fifteen bucks.

What happened? College is super fun, and I would not think that you have started yet.

Again, depends on the industry. You definitely want to make sure that if you have facial hair that it is well groomed and looks nice.
