I've never used the software, but the music videos were awesome, so it counts.Nemoide wrote:I've never played them and I'm not so sure they really count as games but avant-garde band The Residents made three software titles: Freak Show, Bad Day on the Midway, and The Gingerbread Man.

Almost forgot the best Elvis appearance ever:

A lot of the bosses in this game are a riff on some type of musical artist. Factor in all the licensed tracks in the game and you can feel a heavy music influence

Journey Escape for the Atari 2600. From the game's manual:
You're on the road with Journey, one of the world's hottest rock groups. A spectacular performance has just ended. Now it's up to you to guide each Journey Band Member past hordes of Love-Crazed Groupies, Sneaky Photographers, and Shifty-Eyed Promoters to the safety of the Journey Escape Vehicle in time to make the next concert. Your mighty manager and loyal roadies are there to help, but the escape is up to you!
Edit: Had no idea Journey featuring Journey existed. Good thing I never stopped believing and double checked to see if Journey had been mentioned yet.
