I am happy to have purchased a complete copy of Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Trilogy (PS#) for a whopping $8 this morning. The game includes Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, and all of the Assassin's Creed II DLC. Moreover, it is not easy to find, and I am very pleased to add it to my collection for less than the fair market value of a used copy of Assassin's Creed II. :)

The hits keep coming!

After realizing its value, I grabbed a complete, long-box, retail version of Virtua Fighter Remix (SATURN) from a local game store for $16. Although the "not-for-resale" version of Virtua Fighter Remix is quite common and routinely sells for less than $10, the retail, long box version of the game is one of the rarest Saturn games and sells for nearly $100.

The other day I really wanted to play Warioware Touched, but had sold it long ago. I randomly searched Gamestop to see if any stores happened to have it near me, and to my surprise, a few did, and it was priced at 4.99!

I went to the store, and they had HUNDREDS of those yellow envelopes with DS carts in them, all priced below 9.99 and many at 4.99 and under! I went through a bunch, and while its mostly garbage DS games, there are gems to be had. They had Elite Beat Agents for 1.79!

After this, I decided to check some "hidden gems" lists around the net, and got together some notable titles, and started searching for them on the GS website. I just hit my first store and came out with:
Hotel Dusk-2.99
Meteos: Disney Magic-3.99
Henry Hatsworth-2.99

I have a list of other games that should be available at some other local stores that I will be picking up later. Just wanted to let you guys know that there are some awesome deals to be had on really good DS games if you are cool with cart only. While searching at the store today, I found quite a few games with the Atlus logo for cheap, but looking at quick reviews, they did not seem like they would be anything I might play.

I sometimes wish that I had opted to collect DS games "cart only", but I think my insistence on CIB games for that system is the only thing that keeps my collection in check.

Good find on Hnry Hatsworth, BTW. That game is really fun (which is what you would expect from a combination of Ninja Gaiden and Tetris Attack).

Ended up stopping by 2 more Gamestops since in my area they are like starbucks!

Between the 2 stores I got:
Bangai-o: Spirits-2.99
Brain Age 1-1.99
Brain Age 2-2.99
Meteos-2.99
Planet Puzzle League-2.99
Rhythm Heaven-7.99
Monster Tale-4.99

I might check a couple others while I am at different locations for work. Its hard to pass up these deals, these prices are better than Goodwill in most cases!

So, I probably shouldn't point you at http://www.thecoverproject.net to reprint covers (and, on rare occasions, manuals) for your loosies, then right?
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
