I'm thinking about buying a memor32 Memory cards for Ps2. I have got a new ps2 model
SCPH 90004. Does it work with this model or is it to new? On some Websites they say the
SCPH 90004 8C model doesn't work, but on other sites they say it's combatible with all models.

Re: Memor32
I'm not an authority on these matters, but have been reading around the subject as i plan to get a 2nd hand PS2 to hack in the post xmas 2nd hand market, and it would appear that the Memor32 is no longer required now that the 'MC Boot' hack has been discovered - there's a thread in this regard in the hacks and mods section.

Re: Memor32
I see Freemcboot is better. So i will try it with an Action Replay.
With this ESR thing you are able to play backups. Both? Ps1 and ps2 games?
and what about original or burned import games?

Re: Memor32
Only ps2 games, you patch an image before burning it (it cannot boot 1:1 backups), and it appears to the ps2 to be a dvd-video disc, and ESR in turn boots it.
Re: Memor32
Is there any possibility to play copied Ps1 Games with Free MC Boot?
Okay, I put all the data from freemcboot on the MC and backed up my Gamesaves. Can I now use the MC as a normal MC for games though?
