I've slowly been watching Deathnote for awhile now. I'm almost finished with the second season. It started off really good, but sort of jumped the shark with the Misa Misa character, but every once and awhile it still has the logical deductive detective work that makes the show great, so I keep watching.

I recently started watching Sword Art Online, which I thought was a silly concept (VR MMORPG that can kill you IRL), but now I'm actually finding it quite enjoyable!

I finished Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to: The Animation last night. It was funny and translated the balance of perversity and pathos in the manga pretty well. I still preferred the manga due to the anime leaving out some characters, as well as the length and depth of character exploration in the manga.

Yes, I know I watch shitty anime.

Crawling through Kill la Kill still. The show is good but it just doesn't suck me in :P. Around episode 8 or 10 now.

On another note I really want to s-CRY-ed again. Watched it years ago on Adult Swim and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a second watch through.

Need to start watching that again :P. It was so close to the original thought that I lost interest last time I tried :P. Now that they have over 100 episodes I might have a little marathon to catch up. Should be well past the point at which the original anime ended now :D .

Animation and Combat is great, but the humor is kind of hit or miss with me, and the story feels a little bland so far.

Netflix has been kind of ticking me off with how they sub stuff so I'm probably just going to hop back to one of my usual sites to watch it :P. The font they use on Netflix is kind of small and gets mixed in with some backgrounds and I hate how they cut of subtitles for everything else whenever they want to translate a sign or message in the environment.

I picked up Giant Robo the animation: the day the earth stood still. I've had a strong urge to watch more mech anime since I watched macross and gundam zeta. In the last two weeks I went to see Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and spirited away in theatres! It was awesome! Now if only that theatre would show Royal space force wings of honneamise.

@samurai - for some odd reason that doesn't shock me

anyone know the best "legal" place to watch or buy all the stuff related to megaman nt warrior(even the stuff that counts as sequel series that we didn't get here)?

Also been watching fairy tail again...really hope I get caught up on that and one piece(though I'm way behind on one piece on dub and sub episodes)

OMG Sword Art Online is so good! I plowed through the whole first season in about 3 days. I just wanted more and more! I sort of wish I stopped at episode 15 though. It was a perfectly good tale that they could have ended there without carrying forward beyond that point, plus they sort of ruined some characters in the latter half of the season. Still, it was a great show and I'm only so critical of the 2nd half because the first half was so spectacular.

Now I've moved onto Knights of Sidonia, which is looking to be another good series. I've got to get back to Serial Experiment Lain too. I only watched one episode of that.
