I picked them up at GS with the $5 off coupons they've been giving out. Heads up everyone else, it's a good way to pick up some low-tier games.
nice, good looking out.

^ No problem. Here's the link if you missed it in the Gamestop thread. The deal expires on the 3rd. If you have an Android you can download it multiple times and make new accounts to get more coupons.

Nice!

I remember when I found mine. After reading so much about them, I was keeping an eye out for one. Luckily, when I found the one I have right now, I was with a friend. And luckily, that friend drove and had an SUV. So not only did I have a hand lifting it, but transporting it was cake.

Assuming it didn't come with a remote, here's what I did: Get the PDF manual for your model TV. In the manual some where it should have the model number for the remote. Then search the remote's model number on eBay. That's how I got mine, and it was REALLY easy too because there was a lot of them on eBay. Normally I'd be fine without the original remote (I could always program a remote) but you need the original to get into the service menu, if you care to do that.
Thanks for the tip, but it came with both a Remote and the manual. After playing a few different consoles there seems to be some minor geometry issues when in a 50hz (60hz looks perfect), it is nothing massive but I might go into the service menu and see if there are separate settings for 50hz for pincussion amp, etc. I know I had to play around on my old CRT to get it looking as close to perfect as possible.

The TV itself outputs some lovely image quality, my SNES, N64 and Saturn all hooked up via Svideo look beautiful, even needed to turn the sharpness down because they were popping too hard.

Genesis model 2, VA4 motherboard revision with excellent sound and video and in fantastic shape for $20.

Dungeon Explorer for TurboGrafx 16 for $5 (card only)

PC Engine Emerald Dragon with everything including spine card for $5.

I'm pretty happy. Sure, I spent way too much at CCAG, but I actually came away with some good stuff.

I was just there myself today, left at about 3:30. Did not get anything to great but I did take the plunge on a Mother 3 repro. Works on my Retron 5 but shows up as unknown.

Can you use it to get into the service menu though?
Looks like it is preventing me from inputting more then one command at a time so I can't access the service menu :P. Some people had posted work around online but I didn't dig to deeply :P. If you had the original remote it could possibly copy the command signal and you could add it, but I don't see any easy way to input it manually.

While I did spend a lot of time wandering around, wonder how anyone could expect to get $50 for a loose copy of Super Castlevania IV, I also spent a lot of time standing around over at the Aetherbyte table immediately left of the long raffle table up front. Arkhan (on the PCEFX forums) has done a great job with his homebrew Defender knock-off, Atlantean.

Some good prices to be had and then there were some people who I just could not understand what the hell they were doing LOL. I saw a "sealed" Spiderman 32X, 1500 bucks, that is just nuts. Cool to see but nuts! By the way, I was wearing a Beavis and Butthead shit if you saw anyone wearing one it was probably me LOL.
