I'm not much of a breakfast guy, I'm way more interested and creative for lunch and dinner. So for me, breakfast is more just about sustenance and speed rather than flavour.

I alternate between 100% whole grain Canadian oats, multigrain cheerios with skim milk, or 2 hard boiled eggs.

Once in a blue moon i'll switch it up with something awesome, like beans, cherry tomatoes, scrambled eggs, sausages (or bacon) and some buttered toast with orange juice to drink, or perhaps some eggs benedict with smoked salmon, but those are pretty rare. I'm talking once per year.

One of these things is not like the others...

Who knew beans was an awesome breakfast dish.

The eggs benedict and salmon sounds killer though. I bet that is a treat.

Hahaha good point! I'm talking those beans that are cooked in tomato sauce and brown sugar, like in this picture:

I don't know if that's traditional or not, but that breakfast with those beans brings me right back to my childhood. Almost every Sunday my mom would cook a breakfast like that and I would look forward to it every week whilst growing up. For this reason I also love my bacon cooked well done with waaaay too much crunch and crispyness, border-line burned. Again, just the way mama used to make, haha.

The eggs benedict with smoked salmon is definitely worth giving a try if you've never had eggs benedict like that before. They compliment each other so perfectly.

Oh, what we call around here pork'n'beans. I thought that was an English breakfast thing. Not my cup of tea...but to each their own. :D

I will be trying those eggs one day though, when I can get my hands on some good salmon.

Apparently we are having drama for breakfast. I would have preferred waffles.
