What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Maybe. But I doubt it.

Can't judge a movie by it's trailers, but not since Prince of Persia have I been so disinterested in a movie.
It's actually getting good reviews, and I am now interested in seeing it.

I was planning to go see it tonight, but work is delaying that. The Rock has wanted to be Hercules since he was a kid, and did great as "not Conan" in the Scorpion King.

He's no Steve Reeves, but I'm hoping the movie's entertaining. Looking forward to your guys' impressions.

And bad ones.

I have zero interest in it.

Yes, but one of those is from the critic for Variety, and the other is a random guy on io9. Moreover, Variety's critic sounded pleased to see a movie I would probably enjoy, and the io9 critic sounded disappointed not to see a movie I would probably hate.

I am interested in seeing, but maybe not go to the theatres interested. I generally enjoy these types of movies.

Lucy was fun, can't say great, because the science behind everything was so poorly researched and explained. But I had fun watching ScoJo power charm her way through a flimsy plot and it was the kind of sci-fi you don't mind watching for the 'cool scenes' and remarking to friends about the 'potential' it had.

Hercules looks "John Carter-ish".

I believe I have a high level of suspension of disbelief, but that's definitely The Rock wearing a lion hat. It looks silly.

Time will tell.

Might watch a movie in my lil' theater room tonight. Thinking STAR WARS as LOTR usually puts me to sleep.

My Dad has been drooling to see it ever since he saw the first trailer.

I'm also really interested in seeing it, though I have no idea knowing how good it will be. But then again, I eat up this per-medieval level history and sword & sorcery stuff. I loved 10,000 BC, despite how much it got panned. I also really liked John Carter, but it being Disney held it back, methinks. Toned down violence and the lack of everyone being essentially naked pulled something away.

1. I like The Rock
2. I like Greek mythology
3. I'm not an elitist snob (not aiming that at anyone in particular, just noting that those seem like the types who would turn their noses up at this movie)

I don't ever go to the theaters anymore, but I'll check it out on blu ray
