When I go out I almost always get sausage gravy on biscuits, because it is the best breakfast food ever invented.

Sounds gross, probably tastes really nice. Have to check it out sometime.

You haven't truly lived until you've had sausage gravy and biscuits.

On the morning of my bachelor party, my friends brought me four sausage gravy biscuits and a sixer of Miller Lite. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.


Months ago my wife and a friend went to the local Farmer's Market, and decided to grab some Bojangles. I ordered a sausage biscuit, and to my misfortune, they gave me rice instead of gravy. I think it ruined my entire day.


This morning I had cantaloupe and pan fried ham.

Yeah I think I'd be pretty pissed too! Speaking of fast food biscuits and gravy I think Hardee's is the best I've ever had. Of course, in the NW, we don't get Chick-fil-A, Hardee's, Bojangles, Steak n' Shake, ...

I don't eat breakfast regularly. I usually get up, chug some OJ, and head in to work. Sometimes I might snag a pop tart if I'm famished. But this morning I had the breakfast of champions: thin sliced beef + fried eggs + cheddar on an 8" hoagie roll.

Hardees use to have a Jimmy Dean smoked sausage cut in half and covered in cheese and eggs on a biscuit, and that was simply heaven. Now they have nonbranded sausage, nowhere near as good.

Lets talk donuts? Whats your favorite? I have yet to find one that I dont like, but my favorites are Shipley's Maple yeast donut and Randy's any. I make it a point every time I am in LA to go to Randy's, does not matter what time it is.

Top Pot fresh from the fryer old-fashioned donuts are my favorite. AFAIK that's only Seattle-area though. I don't mind Krispy Kreme's standard fare if it super-duper fresh. Voodoo down in Portland is amazing too and I love all of the various fun concoctions they have there.

One time at a Magic tournament someone was travelling back from Portland and brought Voodoo back with him. Twas pretty good but I still prefer Top Pot (though I'm a big Boston Crème fan, so my criteria are big and crème filled).

Personally, I prefer Dunkin Donuts to Krispy Kreme, again, because of the Boston Crème thing.

Yes as far as a standard donut goes, Top Pot is the best IMO. But if you want something outside the norm, like a bacon maple bar, Voodoo is the place for it.

I grew up on Milwaukee street in Chicago, which has more Polish people than Poland. Their donuts.. I have no words on how good they are/were. Nothing comes remotely close.

I do like Krispy Kreme, the rapper who is now Froggy Fresh, and the donut chain, but it's a bit of a rip off. However I think it's awesome that they have an app to tell you when the donuts are freshly fried. Also, if you stroll in to your office with two dozen donuts you become a champion.

I'm more of a NY style bagel guy. One bagel equals one entire week of smelling like roasted garlic, and I'm fine with that. Two pounds of cream cheese? Bring it on. I don't care if the bagel is as big as a frisbee, I down that stuff like a clogged sink.

Okay. I'm getting bagels for breakfast tomorrow morning, along with two Stewart's Cream sodas. DAMN YOU RACKETEERS!
