I'm impressed by the game's speed on the PS3, but it's visuals are so blurry and muddy compared to PS4. Based on the beta it seems there's a clear better option by a wide margin, but if they did cram all 14gb of ps4 content into 6gb of ps3 content i am impressed.

EDIT: just spent two hours with the PS3 beta and I really think it is nicely done...if I hadn't played the PS4 version quite a bit beforehand I probably wouldn't be as picky or care about what I am missing. In any case, it seems the game/gameplay is all there and it is really quite a remarkable achievement. The atmosphere takes a hit, though. It's hard to make the argument that this is a game you MUST buy a new console for if you aren't too concerned about visuals.

So I am going to give it a spin on the Xbox One since I have more beta codes. I have two to give away for that platform too, if you are interested. Let me know!

Anyone have any for Xbox 360? I'd be interested in trying to play this a bit.

Well now that I've put in some real time with the beta on the One, the PS4, and the PS3...the visual differences between the three versions are pretty apparent. No contest that the PS4 looks and plays the best by far, with the PS3 being a pretty admirable last-gen port. The Xbox One version is really right in the middle, edging closer to what I see on the PS4. I was surprised how much detail and effects work seemed lacking, though.

The Xbox One port is also the only version where I lost my connection to Bungie's server partway through a level, for what it's worth.
