I'm sorry if this sounds inflammatory, but honestly that looks like an awful selection of games. I really think Square and/or Humble bundle could have done a better job in picking the line up.

Kane & Lynch 2, Deus Ex: Invisible War and Daikatana are infamously bad games. Just being part of that bundle makes the package as a whole seem cheap. I've never heard anyone say anything good about Deus Ex: The Fall. And don't get too excited about Thief, every source I've heard say's that the Steam version of that game does not run on Windows 7 or 8.

Instead of those there are plenty of other good games that Square has on Steam. How about Sleeping Dogs, Final Fantasy 3, 7, 8, or Dungeon Siege 3?

Also, why is Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light on that list, but not the new Tomb Raider? The bundle would surely get more interest if it had a main line Tomb Raider game instead of a spin off. Also with Rise of the Tomb Raider announced they should want to get the first game in as many peoples hands as possible to increase awareness and interest in the next game.

And why the hell are Lara Croft and Deus Ex GOTY under the $15 section? Both of those games are cheaper individually on Steam (And GOG in Deus Ex's case) and the whole reason people go for humble bundles is to save money. Even if all the games together are far more than $15 it still seems dishonest to have those two games locked behind the $15 section. It would have made more sense to put them under the "Beat the average" section.

So basically buy this bundle if you really want all of the Hitman games or don't already own Deus Ex: Human Revolution. :?

I'm tempted to pick it up just for Dai Katana been wanting to play that ever since I read the Masters of Doom biography a while back  . Will wait until next week to see what the unlocks are though. I pretty much have everything on the list already anyways so I'll probably just drop $1 on it.

Metal Jesus talked about Deus Ex The Fall a bit, it sounded like he liked it.

That's not the Game of the Year edition of Deus Ex Human Revolution. It's that exceedingly annoyingly priced Director's Cut ... you know the version where they fixed all the boss fights and said they'd release it as DLC, but didn't. It's a $20 download on its own.

Not saying it's "awesome". But it's not the worst bundle. There is a deal in there ... but it's mostly a manufactured deal on Square's part by screwing around so much with DEHR.

Wouldn't surprise me to see some of those show up later, since the middle tier does say more games are coming. However, it does look it's all stuff they're just the publisher on, and not developer. Personally, I have most of it already, so it's not that appealing anyway.

From a marketing point of view, I'd kinda think that throwing their MMOs in would be smart. Grabbing even a small percent of the total sold (already 95k or so) for monthly fees would pay off.

I don't know about the other Final Fantasy's, but 7 was given added DRM and spyware for the Steam release. :?

You mean in addition to being on Steam? Geez, overkill.
