Oh I should mention that decathalete is a port of a Sega STV arcade game very fun, check out it's sister game Winter Heat a fun winter olympic sports game.
Ninja, get world series baseball 2. It's got that arcade gameplay. I loved that games. As for football, madden 97 and 98 were fun.

Sadly I can't stand baseball, if I can't enjoy baseball stars on the Neo Geo there is probably no hope of me enjoying any baseball game.

I have NHL 98. Graphics make my eye's bleed but you get used to it and it is pretty fast.

plus, the Ottowa Senators' goalie was Ron Tugnuts, so you can always play as them and hear the announcer go, "SAVED BY TUGNUTS!"

The few I always enjoyed

NHL Powerplay 96 - Game got crazy good reviews when it released, highly recommend!

NBA Jam T.E - Classic NBA Jam players were bigger then the 16 bit variations.

NBA Jam Extreme - This game is ok I love holding turbo and tackling the opponents.

Worldwide Soccer - I bought this on a whim when it was on sale for $29.95 (ya I'm old lol) and come to find out it's amazing,I remember telling all my friends "Look at the loading in this game this must be the future!"

WWF Wrestlemania the Arcade game - Not much of a wrestling game I'll agree but it's some fun 2P arcade like smash em up.

I also have one of the hockey games I really enjoy. I'll look when I get home. Maybe NHL 96. It doesn't look pretty lol but gameplay was fun.

How's the tennis game? I always liked those for some reason.
NHL 97 supports 6 players on multi-tap. NBA 97 supports up to 10 players.
