Man do you ever, it's even better than the first game on just about every level.MCF 76 wrote:Been playing Transformers War for Cybertron again. Really can't get enough of it such a great game. Need to pick up "Fall of Cybertron" now that's it's almost $20

TMNT BATTLE NEXUS, on oxbox.
Not perfect, but I enjoy it.

I watched some youtube videos of the campaign and it is amazing. I didn't watch a lot of them just a few didn't want to ruin it for me. But, getting to play as Grimlock, Metroplex and Bruticus is enough to justify buying it alone imo.Gunstar Green wrote:Man do you ever, it's even better than the first game on just about every level.MCF 76 wrote:Been playing Transformers War for Cybertron again. Does anyone know how well the new Transformers game, Rise of the Dark Spark, stacks up against the Cybertron games?Gunstar Green wrote:Man do you ever, it's even better than the first game on just about every level.MCF 76 wrote:Been playing Transformers War for Cybertron again. I've heard it's mostly just a carbon copy.
Re: What are you playing?
I think I read it tries to cross over the G1 series with the Bay movies? Yiiiiiiiiiiikes... if that's true.
After getting really bored with Lost Planet 3 (I gave it an honest shot and the story bits actually seemed great, but everything else...) I'm still kind of craving a good third person shooter. I should finally look into those Transformers games. I've heard they're really good especially for fans who grew up with the G1 stuff.

Oh man, that sucks about Lost Planet 3 I've heard several others say the same thing. I was looking forward to getting it. I have 1 & 2 still might pick it up to see if it can hold my interest.Xeogred wrote:I think I read it tries to cross over the G1 series with the Bay movies? Yiiiiiiiiiiikes... if that's true.

Well, Transformer war for Cybertron imo I think you will enjoy it. The graphic's are still amazing and the game is I think 4 years old. Don't want to spoil but, the last few missions in the Autobot campaign where you half to battle Tripticon are so epic in scale.

The Cybertron games are love-letters to G1. I can't recommend them enough, especially the second game though you should play them both.MCF 76 wrote:Oh man, that sucks about Lost Planet 3 I've heard several others say the same thing. Fall of Cybertron takes the sense of scale and dials it up to 11.
It sounds like the new one is a serious disappointment which is unfortunate. Everything about it seems rushed and poorly put together according to reviews. I don't know what the hell they were thinking bring Bayformers elements into it considering the G1 love is part of what made the series so popular to begin with.
Re: What are you playing?
Yeah, Transformers are coolest when it's... Transformers, no humans, and barely any Earth. IE the amazing 80's movie.
I've watched a few more videos and yeah, these games look amazing. I usually get bored with cover shooters, but these look a bit different with the transforming, and varied enemy types. I'll definitely have to check them out.

Re: What are you playing?
I've been playing The Conduit on Wii for the past two nights. The best things I can say about it are the controls are very good, and it invokes vague feelings of nostalgia for the original Half-Life at times. The worst things would be the graphics are often sub-par even for the platform, and the game design focuses on waves of endlessly spawning enemies far too often. I'm pretty sure I'm almost done with this game though, so I'll go ahead and finish it.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
