Well...with the A board...that's a different story. The A boards traditionally are $25-30, but the past year now they've done closer to $40...so if that's the case, you did excellent.

i offered $65 for just the B board, manual and kick, which i thought was fair, but they just accepted the offer and said nothing else. so i guess i'll see what happens when i get it in the mail. i don't mind either way, i don't think i overpaid but it'd be neat to get a nice bonus A board as well.

mjmjr25 wrote:@Kalessin - that's my old DnD, it's a nice board w/good label - manual is pretty ratty, but complete. The DnD games actually require a 4th button that may or not be enabled on your supergun - it requires a specialty harness on cabs; game is playable w/o it, but not ideal.
Well *IF* I go for it (big if - it IS a 3 paycheck month, but my CC balance doesn't read $0 yet, so I really shouldn't), my gun's a JNX build... if it doesn't support it be default, I'm sure I can bug James to make a harness for it when I order the 3-4p adapter box from him

I just got the ST-V kick from him for that Golden Axe from your group buy a while back, he's always so nice to work with.

There's people on NG that do it, I don't know of anyone here. I'm nearly positive I've seen people there post that shadowkn55 has done it.

It's a touchy subject - you can find people to do it all day on shmups and neo forums for about $25 and shipping each way (just the roms). There are many others who will do it for free - but it's not the sort of thing anyone will post publicly as there are many who believe you should send Raz money each time you do it.

I've been thinking I should get a programmer for a long time now - I just haven't broken down to do the research on which is the best buy for the buck.

i mean, i'll send Raz some money, too. if it costs me $50 to get this particular board phoenixed, then i've spent exactly $50 on it, so i'm okay with that.

got my Marvel Super Heroes board today; it was indeed only the B board, kick and manual. no big deal though, i still am happy with the price paid. works great, just need to do some maintenance on my control panel and speakers to make it work 100%! i'm really enjoying this dynamo so far.
