My wife was recently in a similar situation. Someone was trying to hire her, pretty aggressively actually. Tried to throw a lot more money her way, but she refused to give up the 4 10's. I don't blame her, especially now that we have a babby.
Yeah the 4-10s are nice. Plus I have gotten used to the flexible schedule. There, I would have to select my lunch bracket and pick 30/1 hr/1.5 hr lunch break schedule and stick to it. Leave at a certain time each day etc...

Here, I will take an hour one day, tomorrow I will bring my lunch and just work through it, and the next day just pick up something and bring it back for 15 min. I could also conceivably take it whenever I want. It is hard to put a value on that type of stuff.

:x - I am really starting to hate my store director, he told them before he left to keep me out there. I think I was outside doing carts for a little over 2 hours and 45 minutes....sorry but does every harris teeter have to be built on a hill running towards the store, and does he not understand I get dehydrated being out there like that? Even doing my normal job I'm carrying around a water bottle(all the dust on the boxes we open and move gets to you...at least it does to me a few other guys). I actually thought I was going to pass out....

:) - at least wednesday I'm going back to my normal job and I have saturday and sunday off....

they had plenty of people to send out there and decided not to  (that cry is worth it because that is ridiculous....even when I did that part time we had set schedules on that and were only out maybe an hour at a time maybe a little longer and the water wasn't in the worst place possible...(all the way across the store *sigh*)

Smile: According to Quakecon reports, the new Doom (previously known as Doom 4) will be in the style of Doom 1 & 2, not Doom 3.

Ticked - I was on vacation last week and got sick on Saturday of the week. I got better and we cannonball ran it home and I was ok, until Sunday night and I got worse. Monday I was out of it, and then magically everything was better. I was great all week, until last night. And now, I am operating on about 2 hours of sleep, full of medicines, and just waiting for the work day to end so I can get home.

Smile - Finally finished the Dungeon Defenders Shard DLC last night. It only took three years.
