What Anime are you Currently Watching?/Anime Recommendations

This is probably a good thread for this. I just recently discovered there was a live action Kenshin movie that came out in 2012. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me that I didn't know about it, since I've been out of the anime scene for a good couple years now. But anyway, Kenshin was another one of my faves back in the day so I had to check out this movie and I LOVED IT!!!

Wanted to get everyone's thought on it. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet...



There's two sequels planned too:

I think both that Kenshin movie and Pacific Rim make a strong case for how awesome live action anime can be.

I used to have a VHS copy of Kite and I thought it was kinda terrible.

Just recently watched the Live Action Kenshin movie and enjoyed it. Although it did feel a bit slow at times to me. Had to watch the Trust and Betrayal Movie again. I actually looked at this thread to say that I was starting the Kenshin series over again.

It's a really solid show but the first half is certainly weaker than the last half. Stick with it and it will pay off. It's one of the few anime made in the last few years I really enjoyed.

I'm on episode 20 of the 2011 reboot of Hunter X Hunter. Loving it so far!
