Games Acquired 2014
Re: Games Acquired 2014
The only shovelware you should concern yourself with is Shovel Knight.

I know. I think I am going to buy that right after I finish up Military Madness.Stark wrote:The only shovelware you should concern yourself with is Shovel Knight.

Yeah the best DSI games are probably those GBA compilations. And even those are lazy - from what I recall they each only contain 2 or 3 games.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Zoo has released some pretty good games (but not very many in comparison to the size of tis catalogue). City Interactive doesn't have much to recommend it, but it is the only one of the three companies that is still in business...So...It has that going for it. (Apparently it is developing Lords of the Fallen for the PS4 and Xbox One.) DSI...uh...ported some Atari games to the Gameboy Advance?
EDIT: Speaking of shovelware...I just discovered that this exists. An Amiga platformer that was released as PS4 launch title and received a physical release for the 3DS in 2014. It is going on the "want list" right away!
Putty Squad looks interesting... It's also insanely cheap for a game released so recently. Didn't know a game could launch as a budget title.
I'd like to see the revival of more of these old European Commodore games. It was nice to see Giana Sisters on the DS (+ a sequel on Steam I think). There's also an upcoming reboot(?) of Shadow of the Beast on PS4.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
I received my first Super Famicom game from ebay yesterday: Super Aleste.
Didn't get to play much of it, but it was 'super' fun for what little I did play. I can't wait to play some more.

Might I ask how much? It's the Japanese version of Space Megaforce, which is crazy expensive right now.graffix_13 wrote:I received my first Super Famicom game from ebay yesterday: Super Aleste.

It's one of the best SNES shmups.

I think I paid a little over $50 for it, including shipping. I got it in less than a week too (from Hong Kong).ExedExes wrote:Might I ask how much? I looked at Space Megaforce but it was a little too pricey. So I just went with the SFC version since it's the same game.
Only problem is now I have started a SFC cart collection and I need more!

I just ordered Final Fight and Final Fight 2 for Super Famicom on Friday. I know the SNES version of Final Fight is not bad price wise, but Final Fight 2 for SNES is pricey. I won't even mention Final Fight 3.
