Seems to be a lot of confusion around it, but it seems Lucina and Robin are both new characters and Captain Falcon is returning.

Chrom seems to be an assist trophy, or part of a final smash, or something else, but not actually a playable character.

I am in love with this roster more and more.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm okay with this. We already had two blue haired sword swinging' Fire Emblem dudes. Now my blue haired, sword swinging waifu is included!

I'm happy enough with the announcements, although with all the indications of a possible Xenoblade related character I'm a little disappointed we didn't get one today (I want to see more series represented, rather than more characters from series already repped).

It's nice to finally get a mage character from fire emblem, even if they do use a sword too. I kinda wish we coulda gotten Isaac from Golden Sun for the sword + Magic thing though :lol:
