can you not back up the Vita on the PC like you could with the PSP? I started with the 32 GB card so I have no idea how you go about transferring.skyknight wrote:Hey guys, I have a Vita 32GB memory card, and I am thinking of getting the 64GB; here's what I hope to happen - someone here is willing to buy the 32GB (as-in pay ahead) from me for USD $55 shipped, I go ahead and buy a 64GB and wait for it to arrive, I transfer the all my data (and clear the 32GB) and ship out the 32GB to the buyer.
It maybe a long shot, but I am willing to get it a try.

You can transfer your data to PC or PS3, but you still need the memory card inside the Vita to access games and saved data.ninjainspandex wrote:can you not back up the Vita on the PC like you could with the PSP? Re: Playstation Vita thread
I found an offer for a used PS Vita (OLED wi-fi model....is that the original or the new model?) together with a 4GB memory card and the following games:
-Little Big Planet
-Rayman Origins
-Soul Sacrifice
-ModNation Racers Road Trip
-Everybodys Golf
for 120€ (think 120$). You guys think it's a good deal? Is the Vita getting good indie support to make it a worthwhile purchase?

OLED is the original model, the one with the best screen.ZeroAX wrote:I found an offer for a used PS Vita (OLED wi-fi model....is that the original or the new model?
Don't buy a Vita for indie games. Buy a Vita for Vita games. If you want to play indies, you can do that all day on your laptop or smartphone.ZeroAX wrote:Is the Vita getting good indie support to make it a worthwhile purchase?

EDIT
I decided against it, it's a great price but I really don't see any games that I can't play on the PS3 and I'd rather spend that money on 3DS games.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
This Sony Flash Sale is great for the Vita catalog. Thomas Was Alone is $1.00 cross-buy. Velocity Ultra looks great (IIRC the original was PS3 mini only - no Vita). Urban Trial Freestyle is a good buy (not a cross-buy).
Couple in the PSOne titles that are PS3-PSVita - Harvest Moon, Dino Crisis 1&2, Wild Arms 1&2.
Doesn't look like Legend of Dragoon works with Vita - PS3/PSP only.

Here's a huge list of every feasible upcoming Vita game, with screenshots:

There are at least a handful of exclusives I'm genuinely interested in personally.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I picked up Xblaze for the Vita. I'm not normally that into visual novels, but I had read good things about this one and also love BlazBlue which this is a prequel too. Different characters but same would 150 years prior.
It's surprisingly really enjoyable. Part of the reason I find it more enjoyable than your average visual novel is how much more effort they put into the visuals. There are more perspective changes. Characters mouth's move. Their eyes move. And it's all fully voice acted (in Japanese). Being a fan of BB probably also helps a bit.
Having it on Vita also helps. I don't think I'd play it nearly as much on PS3.
