1. Ogre Battle - PS1
2. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - PC
3. The Banner Saga - PC
4. Papers, Please - PC
5. Tactics Ogre LUCT - PSP (on Vita)
6. The Walking Dead Season 1 & 400 Days - PC
7. The Wolf Among Us - PC
8. Dragon Age: Origins - PC

Well, this one has eluded me for years and I finally took it down. I love the game overall and will be moving onto the expansion/DLC Awakening next. Then I need to play DA2 before Inquisition comes out.

AWESOME! wOOt!

The expansions and Awakening are also pretty great. I just started up a new playthrough of DA myself (did this finally motivate you? ) and hope to replay both games before Inquisition...

You are cranking them out!

Im not doing those 2 small standalone DLCs, but I did all of the DLC that happens during the story. Shale, return to Ostagar, Soldiers Peak etc...

Impending DAI release has motivated me to finally get it done. Plus I have always enjoyed the game anyway.

Assassin's Creed IV WiiU
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon PC
Splinter Cell: Blacklist WiiU
The Wolf Among Us: Episode 1 PC
The Wolf Among Us: Episode 2 PC
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut WiiU
Jazzpunk PC
Pikmin 3 WiiU
Call of Duty: Ghosts WiiU
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze WiiU
Tomb Raider (2013) PC
The Wolf Among Us: Episode 3 PC
Danganronpa Vita
Far Cry 2 360
The Witcher 2 360

Injustice: Gods Among Us 360

Loved this game when it came out on Wii U. The 360 version is a bit better but overall still the same game I know and love. It's probably not as good of a fighter as Mortal Kombat 9 but in terms of story and presentation it stands a bit higher. I had forgotten most of the moves for everybody but Flash (he was my main when I played it on Wii U) so playing through the story was a good re-introduction into the other characters. Took a while to get used to the 360 controller's dpad. The Wii U Pro Controller is definitely a better controller but the online mode is completely dead and ruined on the Wii U version. Not that I could play that up here in the mountains anyway with 1000+ ms ping.

Finished Ravensword: Shadowlands (Android version) last night. Took 10 hours as I did all the sidequests I could find. Overall 8/10.
Ravensword: Shadowlands (R:S) comes across as an amalgam of a lite Elder Scrolls experience with a hint of King's Field at times. That's not to say the game is entirely derivative, for example you may find yourself flying on a pterodactyl shooting flaming crossbow bolts at swamp goblins. Graphically amazing for its platform, R:S never fails to impress aesthetically with its huge open vistas and fierce creatures aplomb, supplemented by a fitting melancholy OST. Combat is frantic whether you're using ranged or melee weapons, or magic if you prefer. Though not without its rough edges and occasional glitches, R:S never forgets to be a fun action RPG that rewards the player all the way to the end.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Games Beaten 2014
January-June
Spider - iOS
Metal Torrent NDS
Injustice: Gods Among Us - PC *new*
Thief Gold - PC *new*

Total: 54

Games Beaten: 2013 2012 2011 2010

Injustice made my old PC chug along but ran smooth as anything at max resolution/settings on the new rig. I really appreciate what they did as far as telling a story in a fighting game (a 4+ hour one!), and I hope we see similar kinds of approaches in the genre in the near future. I learned about or learned to have a lot more appreciation for many DC characters, and if there's a sequel to this I'd be very interested.

Thief Gold is simply an unbelievable experience. I generally don't like stealth games, but Thief basically is a giant exception based on how well it does things. I was surprised to find that the levels where stealth was de-emphasized ("monster levels") to be my least favorite  The level design and sense of exploration is really second to none...it was always fascinating to see what I'd encounter on the next floor or around the next corner and the game doesn't get enough credit for its sci-fi/fantasy/occult themes that are above and beyond the medieval stuff that I was expecting. I'm glad to finally have this one under my belt :)
