Picked it up when I saw it at goodwill a few days ago and worth every cent.
So...you're saying this movie is worth twenty-five cents?
but a great watch all in all especially when waiting on car maintenance to be done
I am imagining the mechanic poking his head into the waiting room to let you know he has replaced your fan belt. He looks up to see what you're watching on TV, and his eyes go wide with wonder. Go Pikachu!
I'm glad I go tit
I'm glad you go tit, too. In my opinion, going tit is the only way to go.

I'm just trolling you, brother. Please don't take too much offense; it's all in good fun.
1.) I think I paid 1.99 for it
2.) Heh the only talk we had about it at all(I actually brought my laptop) was when he checked me in, the guy is actually more a part orderer/front desk person from every time I've been there and it was to only mention that he and his kids used to have a ton of it

3.) oh man....me and my typos...

Also I forgot how much of a dick charizard was ha ha

Yes. My favorites are:

Black Sunday (a/k/a The Mask of Satan)
The Girl Who Knew Too Much
Black Sabbath
Kill, Baby, Kill
Lisa & The Devil

Hatchet for the Honeymoon is OK, but Five Dolls for an August Moon is awful. (Sadly, I have not yet seen Twitch of the Death Nerve, Blood & Black Lace, The Whip & the Body, or Shock. Likewise, I have not yet seen Planet of the Vampires, which supposedly inspired Ridley Scott's Alien.)

In my experience, Mario Bava's earlier, black-and-white films are his best and most stylish; so, you may want to start with those.

Black Sabbath is a very good one in my opinion, assuming one likes the film style.

To be honest I liked the first better. This is no slouch by any means, but the undercover schtick didn't work as well as other films (Infernal Affairs). The action does compensate for that.

Sat down fully intent on watching something intelligent, thought provoking and beautifully filmed.

Ended up watching Robocop 2 instead. :P

I disagree. I think the first's setting was too restrictive. The Raid 2 benefits from being able to have fights in more varied locations. Plus the action itself is more diverse and plentiful in The Raid 2. They did more fun stuff with the camera work and cinematography too in The Raid 2. Also, The Raid 2 has stronger characters. Nobody really stood out in the first movie other than maybe Mad Dog. The Raid 2 I came away knowing I wouldn't forget characters like Eka, Prakoso, and the iconic Hammer Girl/Baseball Man duo. And the writing is tighter in The Raid 2. Some of the dialog in the first one and just the script in general was weak

IMO The Raid 2 outdoes the first in every regard. The Raid wouldn't make my list of best action movies ever, but The Raid 2 easily makes the list. I always thought the first one was massively overrated and I watched it again last night and feel the same way. It's good, but The Raid 2 is awesome

EDIT: Dredd 3d has affected my view of the first Raid movie as well. Dredd does more interesting things with a very similar set up and location as the first Raid movie. It tells a better story too with better characters.

Been picking up a lot of interesting movies at the pawns recently for the DVD pick box Oxy has been trying to get started up  .

8 Diagram Pole Fighter

This movie actually ended up being alot better then I expected it to be. While the story was pretty basic the martial arts were top notch and there were plenty of action sequences to show them off :). Especially loved the final battle which involved some "wolves" being defanged  . Only thing I didn't like was the initial battle was shot on what felt like a very claustrophobic set everything was really dark but you could tell the backgrounds were painted on and the floor was just covered up with sand :P.

Bad Taste

Image

One of those so bad it's good movies. Acting is down right horrible which makes every scene hilarious, the violence is over the top they mush have use up 200-300 bottles of ketchup I mean blood  and a few dozen raw chickens, and the plot is crazy. Overall it was a fun movie and it's one of those films that doesn't take itself to seriously so the low budget effects actually provide some comic relief

Darkman

Image

Liam Neeson was down right awesome in this movie. Action sequences were plentiful, the main character was unique and interesting, the plot was pretty good, and it has that kind of 80s action movie vibe going for it :). Darkman is probably one of my favorite Anti-Hero movies now.

Outland

Image

Interesting little space crime drama. The conspiracy was revealed a little to early though and it definitely wasn't one of those sit on the edge of your seat type of movies. The action also while decent was never really spur of the moment you knew whenever a fight or chase scene was coming and in the case of the final showdown they literally had a timer counting down till the danger was supposed to pop up  . Still a decent movie and Sean Connery was great as always but the script would have been so much better had they not been pulling all their punches :P.

DAWN OF PLANET OF THE APES

Talking monkeys with guns riding horses.

Need I say more?

If you see a guy in the movie who looks like me, it isn't me, but a good friend of mine who looks a lot like me.

Go see it. It's not perfect, but if you like monkey/ape shenanigans, it's rope.
