Really cool update, all pre-ordered copies of the game will feature free DLC that includes most of the original cast of Alien doing voice-overs for two optional missions set within the first movie. I personally can't believe they got Sigourney Weaver back to reprise her role as Ripley, but damn is this is ever cool!

Why is Ripley pulling a duck face in those pictures?

The game is also being released on PS3/360, so I'll pick it up on one of those systems.

Can I honestly say that this developer is actually working hard to make an awesome game? I feel like they're taking all the right steps. Free DLC too? I hope it pays off for them with this one.

Phew!

After CM I am really hesitant to preorder an Alien-related game again (luckily the reviews came out in time to just barely be able to cancel on that one). If the reviews for this look good and come out in advance, then I will consider preordering...

I figured this would be the case and is a huge selling point for fans of the original movie/series. It might actually be a lifesaver for them. I'm still hoping for an artbook or "making of" dvd, but probably won't hold my breath on that. I do wonder if the DLC will be included on the disk or whether it's just a code - definitely more appealing and valuable if it's on the disk itself.

I might still get it right away, since it can be had for under $40 via GMG...
Alien: Isolation is out in just a few days, so get your copy of the Nostromo Edition for just $37.50 with code OCTOBE-R25OFF-GMGXXX.
